Regarding Cronos: The New Dawn Deluxe

I purchased Cronos: The New Dawn Deluxe. According to the website, this deluxe edition comes with two days' early access.

However, the code I received was not a deluxe edition code that comes with two days' early access. According to a Steamdb query, the sub-ID of the code I received is 1308078. This is just the regular deluxe edition, not the one that includes two days' early access.

Therefore, it doesn't come with the 48-hour early access, and even if you redeem it early, you won't be able to play the game.

Other buyers have mentioned similar situations in the comments here.

I suggest you remove the 2-Day Early Access description from Cronos: The New Dawn Deluxe.

Purchasing a version of the game before its release that grants two days of early access is essentially an early purchase, equivalent to a pre-order, and includes any pre-order bonuses.

Because the game code's Sub ID is fixed, the content you receive remains the same regardless of when you redeem the game.

The game code Loaded provided does not represent a two-day early access code. It is simply a standard deluxe edition code.

R.I.P.D The Game

I purchased "R.I.P.D The Game," and it crashed shortly after launching.

I tried every solution available online, but none worked.

This game was released in 2013 and has been off the shelves for years, so no updates are expected to support newer PC specs and operating systems.

I bought an unplayable game and cannot get a refund.

Offering incorrect products

Because I have the base game The Chant, I bought The Chant soundtrack from HRK.

I read the product information carefully before purchasing. First, the product can be redeemed in my country. Second, the product clearly states that it can be redeemed on the Steam platform.

The store says: "Platform: Steam PC, for the ROW region" But when I received the code, I found that it could not be redeemed on Steam. I contacted HRK customer service and finally the code had to be redeemed on a non-Steam platform.

In other words, the code provided by HRK was not a Steam code. This means that the product information provided by HRK is incorrect. The follow-up is that I was told that the code has been revealed, so the case is closed. The product page information has not been updated.

It is only a product of $0.47, but it makes me afraid to buy anything from HRK again. Because I think there is no guarantee.

Service quality decline

1. The key distribution method is flawed.

Humble Bundle should guarantee that buyers will receive the game code they purchased when the order is completed (whether it is a pre-order or regular purchase).

It is incredible that I have not received a game code for more than two years. Because only after you uncover the game code can you get a set of game codes through Humble Bundle's system. If Humble Bundle does not have enough game codes in stock, you have to wait for them to reissue them.

Sometimes you have to wait a long time, and sometimes you can't get it at all, and they will refund you according to their calculations.

If I buy a game and there is no guarantee that I will get it, why should I buy it? I buy the possibility of getting a game code, not the absolute ownership.

2. Customer service needs to be improved

Of all the game stores I have bought games from, HB's after-sales service is really bad.

First of all, you have to wait a long time to get some response, sometimes it takes one to two weeks to solve a simple problem.

And each customer service has completely different knowledge and experience in dealing with related matters. Some customer service staff cannot understand the customer's problem, while some can immediately find the problem.

This means that the company has not conducted effective education and training. If a customer has a problem and the only solution you can provide is a refund, there is nothing worse than this.

Because this means that you cannot handle the customer's problem, so you can only refund the customer. In addition to wasting time, it also damages HB's corporate image.

I think your company has problems with management. You should recruit truly capable professionals to be supervisors to improve HB's image and service quality. Otherwise, it will only get worse.

Never pre-order games from Humble bundle

I pre-ordered the deluxe editions of two games on May 7:

01.ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN Deluxe Edition
Released on May 30

02.RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army Deluxe Edition
Released on June 19

But I haven't received the game code yet. I wrote to customer service and waited for more than 15 days but still no news.

I will buy games in the Humble bundle, which shows my trust in you.

But the game I bought a few years ago still hasn't been reissued, and now I can't even get the pre-ordered game in the first place. I don't know why I should buy anything in your store.

Very bad buying experience

I pre-ordered the Elden ring nightreign deluxe on May 7th. After the game was released on May 30, I found that the game was listed as region locked in the Humble bundle. Then I never received the Steam key.

You had a very long time to confirm the Steam key and region restrictions with Bandai Namco, instead of temporarily changing the region restrictions after the game is released.

Bandai Namco is a terrible publisher, if they valued their customers, how could this happen? Which countries should be region-locked or not is something they should handle carefully when offering pre-orders of games.

And Humble bundle is also an experienced game store. You should remind these confused publishers who don’t even know which regions they have locked.

Early Access

Formula Retro Racing - World Tour from the Pedal to the Metal Bundle is an Early Access game, but according to the Steam store, the game hasn't been updated in two years. I hope Fanatical will be more careful when offering Early Access games in the future.

In addition, in the past, when participating in the spin bonus, if you drew a game you already owned, you could request a replacement, but this flexible service seems to have been cancelled.

I haven't shopped at Fanatical for half a year, but the joyful atmosphere that Fanatical brought me seems to have gradually changed since 2024.

Replenish:

Formula Retro Racing - World Tour will be available in Early Access on March 31, 2023.

According to the developer's announcement on Steam, the early access will last about three months. That is to say, the game will end its early access version and become the standard version in three months at the earliest.

It is now May 2025, the game has not been updated for two years, and is still unfinished.

Your list is accurate, but the fact that the Early Access version you picked hasn't been updated for two years is an anomaly.

I appreciate your efforts for players, but providing early access versions also has potential risks, so early access games with abnormal situations should be filtered out before providing them to players.

Buying games at Gamivo comes with peace…

Buying games at Gamivo comes with peace of mind knowing that no matter what the situation, Gamivo will handle it.

There are two options for refunds. The first is to refund to the original payment method. The second is to refund to Gamivo balance. I usually choose Gamivo balance because I don't have to pay extra again to buy games with it.

But I recently discovered that Gamivo has changed the rules and now you have to pay extra for using your Gamivo balance. Then I will not choose to refund the Gamivo balance in the future.

Because its only advantage is gone.

Gift card cannot be used

Due to the new system, it seems my gift card can no longer be used. While there's nothing the client can do about it, I appreciate their help. All I can say is I had bad luck and should have used it sooner.

King's New Discount Coupon

I opened a support ticket (5495065) on January 7 and reported to Cdkeys that the discount coupon I received could not be used.

The response I received was that the discount coupon was still valid and unused and asked me to try again later.

So I tried it for 10 days from January 7th to now. During this period, I tried different devices and browsers (including deleting cookie codes), and also used the Cdkeys app, but I couldn't use the discount coupon.

Then today I heard back from you that the discount coupon is still valid and unused.

………………

It was of course unused as I couldn't use it at all!

You can just say that you can't handle this problem so you won't waste each other's time. And I can immediately go to other stores to pre-order the game.

Don't believe

The Diamond Collection came out on Fanatical (January 2025), and I saw that The Battle of Polytopia: Moonrise - Deluxe was already in my Fanaticall library.

But I found that the The Battle of Polytopia: Moonrise - Deluxe I purchased only had the game + 4 DLCs. Rather than the game + 10 dlcs described by the Fanatical store.

I opened a Fanatical support ticket and provided a screenshot of my Fanatical order, a screenshot of my Steam account DLC list, a screenshot of the game with some content locked, and a screenshot of the Steam Deluxe Edition listing (because Steam will show your game what's in the library).

And provide what I think are possible reasons why buying the deluxe edition early on doesn't have all the content. I was hoping you could contact the publisher and find out why.

But the response I got was:

"I don't believe it is, I was only referring to your speculation. I show that you have the advertised DLC which make up the Deluxe version."

When I see "I don't believe...", I think there is no need to reply. Since Fanatical thinks I own the Deluxe Edition content (all of it) and doesn't believe the extensive proof and explanations I provided.

Since 2020, I have purchased your bundle almost every month. I guess since you guys aren't willing to deal with this and don't trust me then there's no point in me continuing to buy games from your store. I will process the remaining game code in the Fanatical library and request that you delete my current account, which may take some time.

Now I can only write to Polytopia Support Team to ask for help and understand the reason. I will update the follow-up information later.

It appears this product has a different product code to the product you've purchased. I see the product you've purchased is https://www.fanatical.com/en/bundle/the-battle-of-polytopia-moonrise-deluxe which contains fewer DLCs.

If you were to purchase through the Diamond collection then additional DLC's will be supplied as per the description.

bad publisher

I pre-ordered Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: Premium Edition from an officially authorized store. I even asked the company to take a leave of absence for this reason, but not only did you not open early access on time, but the dlc content was also incomplete.

I had to buy it on the steam store again, and it turned out that there was no problem buying it on the steam store. I could start the game and all the dlcs were included.

Why didn't Bethesda double check whether there was anything wrong with the steam key it provided? Who is responsible for the losses we suffer as a result?

I went to the police because I bought a G2A game

The first time I bought a game in my life and went to the police station to write a record was because of G2A. Recently I purchased a game from G2A and the seller provided the wrong product. For this reason, I spent several days checking with Steam customer service and asking them to provide detailed information to prove that the seller provided the wrong product.

And I also filed a complaint with our country’s consumer dispute and anti-fraud unit and passed the information to G2A. Then I waited for nearly three months and still got no news.

There are no guarantees at all when purchasing games from G2A.

Payment system and after-sales service are poor

I recently encountered an automatic cancellation of my order when making a purchase. Asked customer service and they said it could be due to automated fraud filters. In the end the problem was not resolved.

Then, in addition to receiving an email notification that the order was cancelled, I also received a notification reminding me to purchase again. Of course, the result was that I could not purchase.

HB's bundles have been going downhill and I've purchased the same games many times. Plus their scam filter. This kind of behavior is just bad money driving out good money.

Very bad after-sales service

I spent a lot of time contacting customer service, and their customer service was very segmented, so I was directed to different service links.

This took me a lot of time.

The final answer I got was that they don't provide support for third-party platforms.

I had a problem buying their company's games. Steam asked me to go to Square enix, and Square enix asked me to go to Steam customer service.

This is a terrible way to handle this. There is no guarantee at all when purchasing a game.
