Took my order, and billed my credit card then failed to send the item out. By the time I got in touch after the 3 day delivery milestone had been passed, the item was out of stock. Clearly this company cannot compete in the online marketplace.

I bought a lens and it arrived on the agreed date and it works. Phoned up with a question which they answered. All good.

I was disappointed that when Carly downloaded my cars faults that all of them apart from the first fault required smart mechanic. When I subscribed to smart mechanic I still found it difficult to understand what the faults meant and I still dont really have a diagnosis.

They sent me what I wanted when they said they would. That’s all one can ask.

Delivery arrived on the promised day and was correct. The driver was a grumpy individual who clearly thought that verbal communication was not necessary, despite efforts to speak to him. Perhaps a short course at the charm school? Otherwise all fine, it just coveys a poor impression of the company.

I’ve made two orders from FFX so far. Both arrived and are perfect, however the journey was not so smooth. The first order (a table saw) was shown as in stock but wasn’t. Each time I called they said stock would be in the next day-it never was. After a week of this I cancelled the order and bought the 110v version which was in stock and duly arrived next day. The second order was for a blade for my new saw. They sent a blade for a stone saw instead. After calling them the correct blade arrived a couple of days later. All good in the end, and customer services staff are excellent, thankfully. Not sure what goes on in the online dispatch part though....

Part 2: FFX got in touch and graciously refunded the cost of my saw blade as a goodwill gesture. I will buy from FFX in the future and think they are a great company. I guess I just got unlucky first time around. Thanks guys!
