The delivery via Royal Mail was…

The delivery via Royal Mail was shocking, what makes it worse is that you can't get to speak to anyone at the Royal Mail or Jack Jones to find out what's going on.

Like a lot of other company's since Covid, they just don't want to talk to you anymore. The only form of communication is via a keyboard warrior.

Great Customer Experience

I placed an order on-line for a jacket, it was the first time that I had ordered with Belstaff on-line having purchased all my previous items in-store.

The order went through ok but then I received an email saying quote the code below and receive 10% off your first order, which was frustrating because it came through after the order was placed.

However, after contacting Belstaff by email they said that they would honour the discount code.

Louisa managed the partial refund process all the way through, even promising to email me when it was complete, which she did.

It was an all-round great customer experience, with Louisa being the star of the show.

Louisa is an absolute credit to the company, which sadly isn't always the case these days!

"You get what you pay for"

The hotel gets good reviews, but I am not sure how! We stayed for the same period in Malaga last year in an H10 hotel in the centre which was amazing. However, the price had gone up £400.00 from last years price, so we decided to stay at the Barcelo next to the train station which was a big mistake. The rooms are very tired and not very clean, the staff on reception were very helpful when we had an issue with the shower, but I can't say the same for the staff at breakfast. They struggled to acknowledge you when checking in for breakfast and one of the staff members thought it was very funny to keep clearing our table every morning when we had just gone to get some extra juice and toast. When I confronted him he just shrugged his shoulders and laughed.

This is a lesson learnt on our behalf, clearly you do get what you pay for.

Good and Bad

Firstly, it is very difficult getting through on the phone to make an enquiry. I had an issue with my knee, so when AXA explained that I didn't require a referral from my GP and I could have an on-line assessment and then go straight to a physio. I thought it was a great idea, so I was sat in front of a physio within 1 week. However, the only downside to this (which I found out) is that you should really have a scan first to see if there is any damage, before you start physio. I was 3 appointments in (you only get 10 on my plan) when the physio said that I may require a scan, which simply makes no sense.

Another enjoyable trip with Jet2!

The flights and transfers went to plan, the hotel lived up to our expectations. We didn't manage to meet the Jet2 Rep, she was only at the hotel once during our stay. There was just one niggle, which was on the return flight when I queried a price when paying for some refreshments. I pointed out that the menu was misleading regarding a (buy this and get this half price offer) which it wasn't. However, the flight attendant was not very good at handling my question, and made my wife and I feel very uncomfortable. Overall, the holiday was a good experience and we will continue to use Jet2 when possible.

Great service, but wait times are shocking!

Once you get through to an assistant the service levels are great. However, the wait time is shocking, sometimes waiting 25 minutes to get through. Which tells me that you don't have enough staff!
