Easy Peasy

I bought my pram months ago and forgot to leave a review.

My babs is due Feb so I search well in advance and bought my pram and travel system in Sep.

What I have-
iCandy 7 core system in Cookie
Cybex Cloud T i 360 base
Cybex Cloud T i car seat in Cozy Beige

I was picky about the colours as I didn't want black (heat) and I don't know the gender of my baby& with that fussiness comes a cost.

Anyway... because I allowed myself the time, I found deals across various sites to for everything. I bought all the deals I had found together and mentioned to David "I have found XYZ at this price... can you beat it?" He did.

Me being me, I tried to see if I could get it cheaper boxing day and now in the Jan sales... I physically can't.

There's that on the price.

Delivery wise... I obviously did not need my pram the next day so I could wait around if needed. It did get to a stage where I emailed and was a bit concern but within a few hours I had a reply and my delivery was on route.

Arrival of delievery-
There was a piece missing - again a quick email and the missing piece was on route within a day.

The car seat was sent in black, as I said, black isn't for me personally so I mentioned this to them and a quick swap was arranged (all free and easy- wouldn't expect to be charged in this circumstance but I had proof I had asked for specific colouring from the off... it would NOT be this company's fault or issue if the colour was not clear from the off).

Any issues or concerns were literally resolved within a day which sometimes is more reassuring that you know any issues get resolved rather than it being fine and then you needing help a few months later (guarantees ect)& you're on your own.

Still to use the pram ect ... but honestly, any problems we face, I have the reassurance David will be all over it anyway.

Thanks guys!

Review of The Fragrance Shop

Stolen Money

Boyfriend bought myself and his dad some pefume/aftershave for Christmas, they never arrived but Royal Mail said they had delivered them.

We contacted The Fragrance Shop about this to see what was going on, as Royal doesn't accept any complaints from receiever but do from sender, to see if they might be able to sort everything out before my father in law returned to Spain.

It got passed the point so my boyfriend requested a refund as we had brought the perfume and aftershave elsewhere.

Still waiting on a refund which they say they can't provide without waiting on Royal Mail to respond.
They are now refusing him.

Pretty sure the strikes were in the news for a while before they happened so TFS should have planned better as a business and swapped courier services for a bit.

Suppose they're good if your delivery goes well but the moment there's a problem, they'll happily steal your money.

Edit: the response received from TFS on this post makes 0 sense considering a few things but the most common sense is of course we have already been emailing customer services email. It's not helping/ helpful ... that's the point of this review.

Review of Evans Cycles

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

As previous reviews have mentioned

Similar to other reviews:

A bike purchase for nearly £600 made in May by my boyfriend has been delayed serval times with no sign of it being available anytime soon (after continual promises).

Have tried to contact an email THEY have provided to get in touch with for a refund and the email has bounced back saying our email address have been blocked.

I agree if a 0 star could be given it would... this is absolutely ridiculous that this isn't automatically reviewed- if a product is not available at maximum 2 months after purchase, it should be refunded with an apology email. Although this might frustrate some, everyone across the board would agree the money is better to have back with an honest email than false promises. Nobody would complain about being refunded over £500...

A potential other option... don't take customers money straight up until you can without a doubt provide the product... a "reserve" email would be better, a bit like how hotels work- no prepayment until collection.

Evans Cycles might suggest they aren't a hotel business (I know they're not) but clearly they're suggesting their customers are finance companies who can lend them money because the order doesn't even show on anything when you type in the order number!

Now the money is stuck with a company who obviously do not have a clue about the current circumstance and think it's fine to use their customers as a way to finance the company rather than delivering services and products they state they do.

Given the circumstances it is understandable there may be delays and it is what it is but to provide an email which is either blocking emails sent to it or is just wrong is a complete joke. To constantly send emails "available next month" when it won't be and they know this / don't actually know if it will be is plain wrong.

Clearly we're not the only ones in this boat. Clearly this is more than justified as four months later, nearly £600 down... I think it's fair to say you've had more than enough of my time and patience.

At the end of my tether at how rude this whole situation is.
