Upon enquiring about the 3-year interest free offer from Octopus Facebook page for solar panel installation, Abdelsalam Shalaby from Octopus contacted us and worked with us throughout the design period. The initial consultation was via phone call, after which we uploaded photos of our property and completed the design questionnaire. Following this we aligned on solar panel positioning through a series of short calls and diagram viewings with Abdelsalam. Abdelsalam has been very knowledgeable and was quick to respond to all our subsequent questions. We found the offer to be competitive (we had 3 prior solar panel consultations and offers from different companies) and now looking forward to seeing how the installation proceeds.

I ordered a phone Nov 7, with a stated two day delivery time. Received an email the following day stating the item has been dispatched. Still not received 5 working days later. But worse is that there is no communication. Sent an email to customer service days ago and no reply. Tried calling and the message said there is no one to take the call, please send an email. I have no idea on what's happening with the phone and if it will come. Unfortunately it makes be suspicious of the company and no way can I recommend it.

When purchasing car insurance at LV, I first checked previous reviews. As LV had good or very good reviews, I then proceeded. I had a quote for an over 50s policy for myself and partner, which came in £100 cheaper then the quote from my current provider (DL), which had jumped close to £150 vs my premium last year. The quote and purchase process was quick and efficient, as well as the provision on the key documents once the purchase had been made.

We sold our house right at the end of lockdown. Julie was instrumental in working with both solicitors (ours and the Buyers') to facilitate exchange and completion. She also was super in helping us communicate directly with the Buyers through her, as the solicitors had a very heavy workload and communications were sower than normal. The initial evaluation was also top notch, as photos were taken on the spot and a brochure produces within two days. This meant that viewings were able to be set up much more quickly than with other estate agents.

The actual switchover happened without a hitch. By 7 am of target switchover date, which was precisely two weeks and one day from request/sign-up date, I noticed that my previous service had ended. This was the trigger to connect the new router. I connected the Fritz router using the easy to follow instructions, and was up and running on Zen within 5 minutes.

I found customer service awful (actually non-existent). I sent multiple emails, none of which were answered. Then I tried phoning and was put on hold for an hour and 30 minutes before the line was dropped. This was my first 'moment of truth' with the company, and if technical support is like this I have very little confidence.
