Review of Bellway
Plot 7 Cyprus Longwood grange Cardiff. My experience with bellway is very poor, We have contacted them on several different occasions about the state of our driveway. They keep on blaming the builder we used to carry out various jobs in the garden about heavy machinery being used. The machinery used for the project didn’t even reach the weight of my car which is classed as an SUV.
The weight of the micro digger is 950kg,
The weight of the track dumper which was used is 500kg.
Before the job was started my builder put tarpaulin down and 18mm ply boards on top to stop any damage being caused.
Where the skip was placed on the drive you can see there is no evidence of damage on the driveway. When the grab lorry was grabbing out of the skip he was placing the legs on the grass between plot 7 and number 37.
On plenty of occasions whilst being on the phone to bellway (Denise) she mentioned to me to contact head office. Which I continued to do the same lady replied all the time. I have also contacted the site manager on the site (Paul) and he was very aggressive on the phone to me, When I mentioned to speak to my builder he put the phone down.
Bellway sent E M Remedial Solution they came to inspect the drive and said the machinery didn’t cause the damage. We have asked to have a copy of the report but they have refused on several occasions, bellway also said the report was irrelevant.
When you buy a house from bellway they treat you like a king. They also give you insurance for 2 years. In my eyes there is no point in this because it’s not covering all aspect of the house. They also give you 10 years cover on everything outside of the property, which in my eyes isn’t being used with the situation I am in with my driveway. We have only been here for 1 year, the amount of time we have had to contact them with different problems inside is ridiculous. Anybody who is thinking about buying a bellway house please put a lot of consideration in to it.

I've tried calling them all week and never been able to get through. They're just another shambles of a Governmemt Department, I suppose....Very bad
