Very poor customer service

The earrings that arrived are very pretty. However, I purchased a gift box and because the packaging was so poor - all put in a thin plastic bag - the gift box was damaged in transit. I emailed to ask for a refund on the gift box and they said this was beyond their control- I beg to differ as a company you are responsible to ensure you use adequate packaging. They also said they logged a complaint against the delivery company about this and will likely be reimbursed as a result. I’m not getting a refund on this and was offered a discount code instead, which I will absolutely not be using as I will not shop here again based on my poor customer service experience.
Buyer beware I say.

Do not purchase from this company

My experience sadly mirrors all the reviews on here. Bought two pairs of trousers and returned both. Had return acknowledgment through an email and then on the same day an email saying refund processed. But I have never received the refund despite these emails and a lot of chasing through online modes, as no telephone number. I am now going through the process of claiming my money back through my bank.
I have no idea what is going on but I think whoever bought Debenhams after all their stores closed are now in serious trouble themselves and are taking the money of good people based on a name that had been around a long time. Like many of the others on here I had not done my research and did not see the reviews, as I trusted the name. But that is all it is… a name and behind whoever purchased the name Debenhams are some very shady characters now, so beware when purchasing as it is not the historical name in my opinion.

Please be wary of this company

Please be wary of this company. They sent me an incorrect and incomplete Berkey water filter. They have not responded to emails or returned any of my calls to return this and get a refund. The website now just says closed for maintenance.
