Love BUT
I have mixed feelings- I love having various audiobooks to listen too- my kids and I listen to a lot affordably. The downside is it’s NOT unlimited. Pretty much monthly we have books removed from our list we wanted to listen to until a later date. They haven’t “taken away” books we are currently listening to but they will occasionally bleep out for 30 seconds unless you download- I assume to discourage use.

We're happy to give you some options that could help with reading with your kids, depending on their age ranges. Also, to keep your reading and some of theirs separate so that you experience these rotating catalogs a bit less! With a Scribd membership, you also get a free subscription to FarFaria, which is similar to Scribd, but made specifically for children ages 1-10, so I think this could work for you, and anything read in FarFaria will have no effect on your content rotations within the Scribd library. To access this, you need to log into your account at Scribd.com, then in the upper right-hand corner click on “Scribd Perks” or visit this link (https://www.scribd.com/account-settings/bundles). From there you will see FarFaria, and you can set up the free subscription!
The experience with 30 seconds or any part of audiobook listening "missing" or inaudible is not normal. This does sound like a glitch -- Sometimes uninstalling the Scribd app, or deleting the current downloaded audiobook can help with this. If you try to uninstall, please make sure your other downloaded audiobooks are SAVED first so you don't lose them!
