My laptop is currently being held…

My laptop is currently being held hostage at their repair depot. I've received zero ETA's as to when I'm going to get it back or what the reason is for the delay in the first place (they've had it for nearly a month). They also billed me more for the repair than I was quoted and received an invoice for. I will tell everyone I know to avoid Dell laptops and also mention this to my boss at work (we shouldn't be selling customers laptops that may be held hostage). Awful.

I also filed a complaint with my local attorney general, they can't just have my laptop and my money with no recourse to me.

Received after 4 months

Updating my review to say I did end up getting it, it did however take 4 months (I ordered March 22). I realize things have been out of control as far as shipping times and it is what it is.

I do like my order though and I'm glad it did end up arriving eventually. I think if there's one thing I'd improve it would maybe be making the customer feel like there's some recourse if something truly doesn't show up - as their policy is only to help out if it gets lost in the persons home country not if it gets lost on the way here.

Hi Danielle! I'm sorry to hear that you still have not received your order. I can see from the tracking that it has been shipped to US (JFK) on April 29th, so apparently USPS is still processing it. When it starts moving again, you'll see the updated status on the tracking link you've been sent. :)

You might have received other orders from elsewhere, and other customers from our store might have received their orders already. That's normal, as every company uses different shipping providers, and we have also been able to change our shipping channels once the corona-delays started happening. Hopefully you'll receive your order soon!
