Really very good service

Never heard of this company before but will return. Best price for a Makita extended hedge trimmer. Delivery via a reliable courier - FedEx - although I did have to call AWL to get a tracking number which should, I think, be supplied automatically. When I rang, I got straight thru to a real and very helpful person without any wait. Excellent all round.

Two great shirt

I bought two shirts: red velvet western and Lorenzo wave. I love the colour, fabric and quality of both. I'm 6' 4" and just over 12 stone (77 kilos) and wear a 15" collar and the medium fits perfectly: chest, collar size and body and arm length. I wanted to buy some of the more glamorously-styled 1970s shirts but feel the collars are just a tad too long for me. One minor criticism: on the Lorenzo, a strip of material extends out from the behind the button holes and buttons from the collar down to the bottom of the shirt. It gives the material an unfortunate ruffled look at times which can be seen on some of the shots on the website. Still, I love these shirts and there's no one else selling anything like them.

Great pens

Great pens

I've read these reviews and am really surprised by the negativity. I agree that one should be able to return faulty pens to any Mont Blanc shop. However I have three Miesterstucks and a Pix I acquired today. The Miesterstucks are brilliant - no ink on my hands, bits falling off etc. The Pix is a cheaper build and does feel a bit flimsier than the fountain pens I own, but is about 30% of the price. I wonder if some of these reviews are not genuine?

Drivers cut corners because of pressure

Was given delivery slot and parcel was delivered in it apparently to my neighbour, Franklin. However the driver had left the parcel, with Brew Dog clearly written on the side, on my front doorstep in clear view of the street. My neighbours are not called Franklin, but were nonetheless in at the time. Requested a callback to complain...it didn't happen.

Linen trousers that aren’t linen

Yes, I confirm this is a scam company. Ordered two pairs of linen trousers with an inside leg measurement of 103 cm. It was 80 cm. The linen was actually poly cotton. They look nothing like the photo. Trying to get money back. We shall see.

A terrible bank which barely deserves to use that appellation.

In my dealings with Coop, there is such a long list of examples of poor customer service. Here are two of the most egregious examples. 1. There is often an hour wait for customer service and the excuse is still Covid. Even when I lost my debit card, I couldn't get through that quickly. Most banks ensure that lines that deal with lost or stolen credit cards have instant responses. 2. Frequent refusal to accept debit cards at shops where I shop frequently. For example, a £30 card payment was declined recently. The bank then called my landline (for goodness sake) to check if I had used my card. So I had to go home and wait for over an hour to talk to customer services. When I got through, there was no explanation forthcoming about why my card was refused as this would, apparently, compromise their security procedures. I made a formal complaint but there has been no response. It is a bank with which I am fast losing patience.

Unfortunately it takes time to not only recruit the right people who fit with the Co-operative Bank values and ethics but then to train them to the required standard.

I can assure you our priority as a bank is to ensure we have enough staff available to support our customers and be able to offer the level of service you to expect from us.

Great Experience

Bought a very nice car here. Mostly a very pleasurable experience. Not sure I think the price guarantee (they will pay the difference if you can find the exact same model and year elsewhere) is a good idea as finding the same secondhand car is unlikely. Still, I would certainly return and am please with my purchase which was not too much above the book value.

Good communication. Replacement car a little small and only 2 door. Don't think the insured shud be responsible for valeting the car at the end of the period. Never known a hire company to request this.

CPC training

Training was informative and engaging even though it was online. A sense of shared purpsoe was built by the trainers and what could have been very tedious information was conveyed in an interesting manner. The stress of drivers' (and other's) safety was welcome.
