Review of Family Law Group

5 stars for Julia Amson at The Family Law Group

Julia Amson is an absolute superstar solicitor! After feeling disheartened when my first two solicitors left the company at the beginning of my divorce journey, Julia took over my case with professionalism and expertise. Despite facing a difficult divorce, Julia navigated every challenge with absolute perfection, securing an outcome for me and my children which was even better than I had hoped for. Her knowledge and dedication were evident throughout the entire process. I truly felt like I won the lottery when Julia took on my case. She very cleverly managed all the curveballs my ex-husband threw at us with finesse, ensuring that my rights were protected and my children's well-being was prioritised. I wholeheartedly recommend Julia to anyone facing a similar situation. Her support extended beyond just legal advice; she became a trusted confidante during a challenging time and I will always look back on that period of my life and appreciate how well I was supported. Julia is the solicitor you want by your side when facing such significant life challenges. I can't thank her enough for all she's done for me and my family.

Review of Skinny Tan

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

You get what you pay for, if it's half price.

I wish I'd read the reviews on here instead of obviously fictional or vetted reviews on facebook.

I bought a set which was on offer which brought the price down from equal that of my usual tanner to half the price. The delivery was fast and I got notifications telling me when to expect my parcel.

The items were well packaged and looked nice. I loved the exfoliation glove and used it to remove the last of my previous tan and prepare for the new one. That worked well. I decided just to try this tan on my legs to start with. As is standard I moisturised my ankles and knees. I used the wonder serum which seemed to have a colour guide which was handy but it was a strange grey colour. Thankfully I put it on just before bed so I didn't have to go out in public a weird colour. It stayed sticky on my skin for about 2 hours which was annoying. It smelt lovely when I first put it on but by morning it did have that tell tale henna smell. By morning I also had black knees and ankles! That little exfoliation glove came in handy for reducing the patches. Apart from knees and ankles the tan seemed to have gone on quite smoothly and near enough streak free. It took a lot of work to remove the patches on my knees and ankles. I checked out the tan in variou lights and decided that its tone is slightly more yellow/orange for my liking. It's not awful but I prefer a more natural tone.

Overall it's ok for what I paid. I wouldn't pay full price for it. I got the coconut water, the wonder serum and a few extras for just over £30 whereas my usual FT is the same price for one bottle of product. I'll probably give this lot to a friend to swears by Skinny Tan and then go back to using my usual fake tan.
