Delivery is quick and the items are very well packed.
The lighting strings are good robust well made pieces of equipment.
The one issue I have is:
The lengths are fixed, it is good that strings can be connected together but, one length of ‘Super Festoon’ is too short, and two lengths are too long to fit my cabin.
It would be good to have an option for ‘Made to measure’ lengths.

The staff member I talked to was very friendly, sounded happy, was quick & to the point, he was also informative without being boring.

Sounds like I am not alone in my anger at Daylight Energy, and it sounds like he has used the same delaying tactics on most of us.
Lost a member of staff,
Have to resend your DNO form.
Xmas break has extended the time frame.
then they do not answer the phone or reply to email.
And when enough is enough I find the insurance has ran out, although the paperwork states - will not pay out if the company is still solvent - and as far as I can tell they have not registered for insolvency.
Totally gutted, although writing to all I have mentally written off the £3270 deposit, and now don't know if we can afford to have another go at Solar!

The only downside I have is not knowing when the parcel would be picked up, no txt to say ‘ we will be there in an hour / half hour’ not even morning / afternoon

I always order medium latex gloves, the last time I tried to order them, I was informed they were not available with no indication of when they would be available, or even if they would be coming back in but, Just gloves recommended nitrile gloves, just as flexible, just as strong!
Rubbish! I have not managed to get one glove fully on, which seems to be down to the fact they are smaller.
They are way less flexible and rip way easier than latex,
I am totally dissatisfied with the gloves!

Only one niggle, the delivery time, took a little longer than anticipated.
Everything else was spot on, size was excellent, easy installation, beautiful finish.
And the 'proof of the pudding' i'm ordering more 👌

Delivery was a day late, the parcel only had half of my order, there was no invoice or information on when (or if) the rest of my order would arrive.
I asked Toolstation to let me know if there had been an error or, the order was coming in two delivery's, I have not had a reply!
I had to go to screwfix to pick up screws so I could finish my job.
The rest of my order did arrive a week later 3 boxes of deck screws in a large box with very little padding, one box had broken open with very sharp screws scattered around.
Not impressed.
