They keep sending me letters and…

They keep sending me letters and packages and i keep returning them. I have contacted them numerous times to remove my address - they are breaking GDPR rules by continuing to harass me and send me unwanted stuff.

I am not a customer of this company yet every month they keep sending me letters and products for a different person who is not known at my address - yet they continue to send unwanted products after about 3 years!!!

After reading the 1 star reviews i feel really sorry for the customers whos products are being delivered to my house for the last 3 years....as we have no idea who they are but the poor soul is prob being charged for these products and wondering where their books are going and they prob not available now.

What a terrible company...we have tried everything contacting them to remove our address and nothing after 3 years. Im going to be so insulted with their copy and paste response below they will leave to "contact them at such a such email"...OMG I HAVE FOR 3 YEARS!!!!!

Trustpilot is a scam website. The below response from Trustpilot is not true. I have had several geniune reviews removed and thet allow companies to manipulate the review system.

Trustpilot is allowing companies such as the Dublin Mint Office Company to manipulate their reviews and allowing the company to remove my authentic geniune review.

Trustpilot has allowed the Dublin Mint Office to flag "22" 1 star reviews and then remove these geniune honest reviews. This means the company has a 3 star rating and i suspect that if the "22" 1 star reviews remained the companies overall rating would have been a geniune 1 star - however the company got trustpilot to remove "22" 1 star reviews. Therefore there is little integrity in the Trustpilot reviews.

I am trying to warn consumers about this scam company and yet they are allowed to remove geniune reviews from trustpilot. Therefore it makes me question how authentic other reviews are on trustpilot for companies when they allow this practice

Other reviews skewed as they are just for the 3d scan and not the treatment

Middle of 2020 i decided to sign up. Got my aligners about 2 months later...seemed slow but did not mind at the time as had gone down the impression route. Got my aligners but 4 months later when my treatment was finished in November my teeth were not perfectly straight. Went for re-evaluation 3D scan in St. Stephens green on 28th November. Thought it would be better to get 3D scan because i thought maybe the impression to aligner was not giving the best results as my teeth were still a bit off.

Still no update of new scan in my file and it is now 16th January nearly 2 months later - today after writing this review my original plan has disappeared and it now says "thanks for your photos" we are reviewing them and expect your aligners in 4 weeks...its now 7 weeks since my 3D scan. They have still not even uploaded my new 3d scan. This means i will be waiting 3 months for re-evaluation aligners to arrive. I dont know why this company is trying to fail??

They get the shop and the beginning right. I could not fault the staff in the shop. What annoyed me was that the girl in the shop said...look im clicking this button which has sent your scan off. However clearly in the shop they should he following up on their customers and to see if the central office gets them. Im sure the dentist is ok as well...but they really kill the company with the disconnect between checking up and getting aligners to customers. Why is the St. Stephens green shop not following up on the customers scan and aligners?? Why do they tell us to "wait and not worry" they will arrive in 4 weeks..only to find out 7weeks later that they seem to forgot all together about my aligners?

I have been wearing a pair of retainers since and they no longer fit. They were not a good fit to begin with as they were based on my impression back in June before any aligners and what my teeth would look like from what they predicted and my actual teeth are not like that. The retainers should be based on an updated 3d scan at a minimum and they are not. My bottom teeth are shifting to their original position - bare in mind i only had one bottom tooth which needed to be straighten. Since i was having a re-evaluation anyway...it is why i didnt complain about the retainers as they are only meant to be temporary until my aligners arrive.

No updates on what happened to new aligners. Again it is now 16th January. I contacted them in December, start of January, yesterday, 4 days ago and each time i contact customer service they say to wait - They keep pobbing me off and whatever they are doing is not working because nothing seems to be even in their system.

Customer chat service is terrible - they leave you waiting 30 mins to say they have to follow up with their "team". They dont seem to have any answers. Then they say they will email an update in 30mins.. The chat function should not be allowed as they clearly do not have a database which they can look up in a reasonable time. Im very disappointed as the shop itself seemed lovely. However dealing with online customer service is awful - they seem to have zero connection or ability to follow up on missing orders or aligner updates.

My brother went with Invisalign and i thought he was silly - he hindsight he was smart as im now waiting around with non straight teeth which is 8 months since i 1st signed up to Smile Direct Club. Dont get me wrong i had high hopes and my teeth are a bit better since starting but just doesnt seem to be "straight" and i had relatively straight teeth to begin with. My brother however has security of a real dentist to follow up with.

I am terrified the company is just not going to follow up. Looking at the reviews they seem to be struggling with their re-evaluation aligner treatment follow up since November.

Also i want to point out that the 5 star reviews here are skewed as they are mostly referring to peoples visit into the smileshop for their initial 3D scan instead of after their treatment.

No doubt i will get a generic comment below this from someone called Toni who will tell me to email reviews email which i already have! I can assure Toni that so far nothing has been resolved after emailing their "reviews" email she/he is going to write in their generic comment below my review. Yes the staff are all polite but it is useless when you have paid ~€2000 for a better service and not even had Toni follow this up. I would expect the least Toni could do (considering ive already emailed reviews) is that you yourself should be bending over backwards to fix my order, aligners and upload my scan.

Im just disappointed as i had high hopes that they seemed very professional at the beginning. Their lack of follow up with customers with their treatment will put people off.

Would give zero stars. AVOID. Zero customer service. Charge for 1000MB, only supply copper dial up speed

Would give zero stars. AVOID. Upgraded to multiple Google thermostats and cameras before Christmas and half of them cannot work despite paying €60 per month for 1000MB (gigabit) broadband. We are lucky to get 30MB. 3 adults doing essential work from home and this is not acceptable. Phoned them and DM'd them daily on Twitter and they gave us the run around without any solution or fix.

Review of Dermalogica

Made a 2nd order with Dermalogica and their service this time around was fantastic. % Discount code i had was applied to euros with no issues and had been fixed since the last time i ordered. Order was correct and all products and gifts present - very generous 12 of days of Christmas and Black Friday gifts. Order came really quick with DPD to Ireland in the run up to Christmas. They seem to be making a real effort to turn around and please their customers and delighted that the order went so smooth this time round. Great products as well and plenty to try out now.

Review of Avantcard

Misleading "Amount Due" on their online banking

Got transferred from Tesco Banking to these. Never had any issues with Tesco banking. Initially Avantcard were ok to deal with but their website is very misleading. I tried to set up a Revolut direct debit by sending in the letter - the staff member said this would work! However nobody from Avantcard got back to me to say they do not accept Revolut as direct debit. So my bill didnt get paid. When I went in online and check, It has "Amount Due" on the account which is only recent transactions and does not include a total amount due on the card. This is very misleading and it is setting people up to have bad credit. In all the years with Tesco Banking they never mislead their customers. Even when you ring up Avantcard they quote the recent charges too and dont tell you about outstanding charges. This means they then give you finance charges. When i tell them i want to pay "everything" off they seem surprised!! Its all set up to purposely put their customers into the red and not user friendly at all.

Review of Dermalogica

Missing gel from sealed kit

Attended some of the online classes. One class said would get £10 off for a £50 spend. I ordered items but I am in Ireland and when i applied the discount code only got €5.80 off.
Order came very quick - had emailed customer service before and they didnt respond.
My kit was completely missing the special cleasing gel from the sealed box. The package was sealed so it was not tempered since it left Dermalogica. Very disappointed and came here and see that their customer service doesnt reply.

Also there was a redeem points option. I had 200 points and it said i could pick 13g of the superfoliant - i had screenshots proving this from their website. However my order then said the microfoliant.

I love the brand but shocked with the missing item from their kit as it was missing the gel. It seemed like a manufacturing default.

UPDATE 16th November 2020: Dermalogica Customer Service contacted me via the customer service email they leave below as oppose to the email on their UK website. They said it was within the 5 working days and due to covid there was a bit of a delay to reply on the 5th day. They have said they will send out the missing gel from the kit. They also said they would send out the superfoliant for the redeem points and they will look into why the discount at the end of the online classes is giving the irish customers just €5.80 as oppose to £10 for UK customers. This has restored my fate in Dermalogica as a brand and i would place them as a brillant overall skincare brand. I would hope they employ more customer service people though as it is sad to see them rate so poorly for the UK/Ireland customers due to them having difficulty contacting them. The poor rating here is definitely not due to the product performance or their skincare specialist. Even their customer care come across as really nice- they just need to invest in more.
