Bought a washing machine
Bought a washing machine. Samsung refused to fix under the warranty. They cited unusual usage, however we only used it as per the guide. It seems odd because there are no warnings to stop a user damaging the machine. Despite the disappointment that the machine is designed for obsolescence in 3 years, when we went to have it fixed there was no part. Instead of replacing the machine, as theyre required to under UK roght to repair legislation they ignored me for 8 weeks. I rang each week, they didnt ring desite promising and sought to delay until I went away. Then just before Christmas the part came available (we had been without a machine the 8 weeks) and they said that my options were to pay their supplier for a fix (£450+) or purchase a new one (samsung from £350). The machines are designed to fail and blame the user and the service is designed to frustrate until you give up your rights. Terrible product, terrible customer service and pay lipservice to UK legislation to protect consumers. Avoid and buy Hisense. At least you don't pay a 40% mark-up for the 'Brand' and 'Service'
