Review of UPS

Terrible service

You have one job. Read a label with an address and deliver to that address without ruining packages.

So far you've managed to destroy multiple packages of mine, deliver them to the wrong address, and overly rely an automated chat bot that offers zero help.

Do your job to at least a mediocre level.

Terrible delivery service

Being recently engaged, we're receiving a lot of packages at my house. Of the packages and gifts being delivered, they have successfully broken 6 of them.

Maybe not play rugby in the warehouse with packages, or at the very least, attempt to satisfy the basic tenets of your job.

This product is useless

This product is useless. The AI chatbot is less then helpful. There's a continuous bug that doesn't proceed past some pricing page and customer support doesn't answer the phone and there's no support email or ticketing system.

I'd rather pay an account hundreds of dollars than deal with this lame duck of a company.

Review of Figma

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Moving to an extremely counter intuitive experience.

UI2 wasn't perfect but UI3 is garbage, and not just from an aesthetics point.

- Creating properties is a gigantic headache.
- Style properties and layout adjustments are buried under multiple clicks versus being efficiently placed
- Customer service, account managers, and the figma org clearly demonstrates that they're ok with alienating the enterprise customers in lieu of trying to "make the barrier to entry lower". It wasn't hard to learn, and the barrier to entry was easier than other products on the market.
- If I wanted to make a slide deck I'd use a specialized program for that.

Figma is fundamentally wasting money, my time, and a myriad of other designers' time by useless changes, garbage tiertiary products, useless ux changes, and a garbage pricing model.

Great products and service

Their customer service was quick to respond about my hair brained idea for a lat pull down, took my drawing into account, and confirming whether the set up was adequate before purchasing.

I ordered the pulley system with the low pulley option. Shipping was prompt, on time, and the product quality is great.

Will definitely order again.

Yeesh

Continuously have to pay fees for an expired domain... even though the domain hasn't expired. Pretty sheisty considering their hosting products have bloated pricing, their UX is trash, and fees not presented upfront.

Consistently broken

Payment processor on Pay by plate is consistently broken. It has not allowed me to store or update a new payment method. It's also tried billiing me simply passing OVER 90 not even using a toll.

Review of The Black Tux

Great exerience

My sizing is a little haphazard and OTR suits don't work and I don't need one often enough to buy. The Black Tux helped size me up, get a suit in time for two weddings and adjusted their standard timelines for a good return. Suits looked great, felt great, and pricing on point.

Highly recommend.

Terrible guideline standards

People will go on there and brag about violence, racism, SA, or election misinformation and if you report it — nothing.

You say anything similar to the word dumb, or call these people out — your comment is the one to get deleted.

Review of Cove

Just save your money

First things first: Their panel is built on a very outdated version of Android. So latency is a huge issue here. Not to mention the UI is a huge struggle to work with.

Setting up the system was extremely easy. I set it up, tested it, and everything worked fine. The prompts say "if you don't get a call in five minutes to at..."

I waited the five minutes no call. So I got on the chat with a CS and explained I had set everything up successfully, but I just needed my credentials for the Cove Connect App. Rather than read my message they tell me to go through an entire Restart Wizard that bricks the panel. The panel will now no longer connect to WiFi or their Hub.

They suggested moving closer to the hub. Weird since where I was sitting I was getting full bars of WiFi, and it was set up perfectly fine initially and didn't move the panel. I move to about 4ft from the hub. Still no dice.

Now, there's no discernable way to do a hard restart on the panel, and the UI is so poorly designed there's no discernable way to force a hard restart when the screen is frozen for 45 minutes on "Trying to connect to the hub." So I couldn't restart the panel, and couldn't proceed.

I call CS now for a refund. "Oh, I hear the system is too complicated for you." I am a dev. I work in tech. It's not complicated. The system is entirely easy to use. Your software is running the same OS as an outdated Nook, and if it can't connect on the first day and is essentially bricked I can't trust you to guard my house at a later date.

Review of DoorDash

How this company hasn't been sued is beyond me

I placed an order with Rosati's on 8/27 and paid about $50. I usually wait until an order is about 15 minutes late to check on it. Checked on the order with Doordash they told me to call the restaurant. I called them and was informed they weren't delivering due to "heat and short staff and forgot to turn off Doordash." No biggie asked for a refund and was told to contact Doordash as the order never reached Rosati's.

I went 3 rounds with both Doordash and Rosati's both saying the other is responsible for the refund. Doordash is responsible for the refund. My card statement clearly states that Doordash is point of sale, and they captured my card info. Their CS refused to refund the money even when told I've already conversed with them and the restaurant multiple times. The only thing CS did was mark the order as "complete" and made it impossible to get a refund.

So I'll see you in small claims court. You had one job and you consistently fail at that, and now I'm dealing with theft. Enjoy the lawsuit.

Review of GNC

Customer Service is worthless.

I've purchased in stores for years now. No real issues there as they have what I need. However, my partner will sometimes go in for me so I've had two email accounts on record for them. No big deal.

One time in-store shopping I decided to purchase the pro plan. The associate rang me up and supposedly attached the pro plan to an account based on the phone number, and that was that.

Months later when trying to restock and use the Pro Plan it was NOT attached to either account. I emailed CS they said they'd consolidate my accounts, and attach the plan as they saw I did purchase it. In between the 48-hour waiting periods of CS reply, I just went to the store.

Now months later I still have no Pro Plan access, loss of points due to the consolidation, and 4 CS associates who cannot return an email trying to get it resolved.

Moral of the story: if you shop in-store it's fine. If you need to rely on them for anything outside of that you're better off just going entirely elsewhere. Their CS is absolutely worthless.

Review of Spectrum

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Terrible Customer Service

I moved into my unit and set up an appointment for the following day stating I needed a coaxial line and outlet installed. The appointment was confirmed for 8am-9am. Technician didn't show. Called them and they sent out a technician who was unqualified for installing a coaxial outlet and line and the technician wrongly closed out the ticket. I set up another appointment being very clear in what I needed. Spectrum yet again sent a wrong technician. He stated I needed the MDU department and submitted a ticket on my behalf saying "it will be done Monday or Tuesday since they don't work weekends". Cool. I call today to confirm what day my appointment will take place. It won't take place for another week.

Given the current climate and people working from home constantly now is not the time to be running around acting like this. Their customer service offers no solutions, or any immediate offers to help with the fact that they messed up multiple times.
