I don’t usually leave reviews but thought I’d share my experience. I’m usually untrusting of anything to do with car sales or scrap merchants and was hesitant to use this service. My car had an electrical fault that would cost more than three times the cars value to fix, so after being offered £50 by webuyanycar, I tried sellthecar and was initially offered £250. They referred me to use motorwise website to continue and was offered then £350. I accepted and in a few hours received a call from the salvage company to organise a collection date. They then turned up when they said they would and paid me what they’d quoted later that evening.
Very easy and simple process and would definitely use again if I ever need to again in the future.

Ordered a bath and panels to complement it. The panels were not suitable for the bath I ordered (it didn’t and still doesn’t detail this on the description). I use these products as a living so know what I’m talking about.
After hours spent emailing, explaining the problem several times and packaging the items for return at my own cost (£32!), it took a month to get a full refund for the returned items.
Emails are met with generic responses.
I left two reviews on their site - a good one for the bath and a negative one for the panel. Only the positive review has been published. I wouldn’t trust a company that chooses which reviews to publish.
Please please save yourself time, hassle and money and shop elsewhere!
