Rebecca Ellison is a perfect sales agent

Rebecca Ellison is a perfect sales agent. She was very knowledgeable and gave well informed answers to our questions. She gave good sound advice regarding optional extras provided by Eccleston Homes. She has advised us that we can call in the sales office any time and also that she will keep us informed about progress with our chosen property. We thoroughly recommend Rebecca.

A FULL REFUND IS WANTED

This is a copy of the email I sent to Secret Escapes, and their reply was

We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with our current resolution. If you do choose to postpone the booking we will be here to aid you.
Wishing you a good day.
Bearing in mind that I have contacted them on numerous occasions stating that I want a refund and that I continue to want a full refund. I definitely have no wish to re-book through such an unscrupulous company as this one is.

I am writing to confirm that I continue to request full refund of monies paid to Secret Escapes in good faith. A Full Refund is my legal right and as such I will continue to request same. The Secret Escapes non-refundable clause is noted to be unfair and unacceptably biased toward the company and therefore would not stand up to scrutiny in a Court of Law. Therefore I wish to inform you that I will seek to recover my money via legal proceedings should the Secret Escapes Company not refund monies paid, for a service that they did not supply. Incidentally I have made a complaint against the Secret Escapes Company which has been lodged with the Government Coronavirus Business Complaint Service and have received notification from them that my complaint will be investigated. I am sure others have made similar complaints against Secret Escapes. I have also made known my feelings about Secret Escapes with regard the unjust retainment of monies belonging to me to varied social media review sites and have urged others to make similar complaints to the Government Department dealing with unscrupulous company practices. It is a pity that I and others will have to take this course of action as Secret Escapes were once a company that was well thought of.
A copy of this email has been retained for my records and I would consider it a courtesy if I am furnished with a prompt reply.

4 stars for Michelle - 0 for TUI management

The 4 stars are intended purely for the lady (Michelle) who dealt with my refund. Just an update on my state of affairs with TUI. Very happy to say I have received my refund. They contacted me shortly before I was due to fly to inform me that the flight was cancelled (this was after I had complained that TUI had not confirmed flight cancellations, to enable me to cancel other aspects of my holiday). A week after we were due to fly they sent another email stating that they would be sending me a credit voucher; which they duly sent two weeks after my intended departure date. It took me two days of constantly phoning and re-phoning TUI before I managed to get through to the hold line. I waited just over an hour on hold before I managed to speak to a lovely Welsh sounding lady named Michelle who processed my refund there and then and now less than 3 days later I have my refund back in my credit card account. The 4 stars I have given are purely intended to reflect the very courteous treatment I received from Michelle (she is a credit to TUI). And before sceptics start saying I must be either a member of TUI staff or a relative of Michelle; I can categorically state that I don't know the woman from Adam but I am totally grateful for the way she treated me. As for TUI management, they need to get their act together and make a point of keeping customers firmly at the front of their minds and do the right thing and speed up the refund process for many that can't manage without their refunds and the stress caused by not receiving any information or any way to actually speak to a human and not an automated message.

TUI are not answering calls !!

TUI are not answering calls !!! I have been trying to contact TUI to inform them that I want a full cash refund . The only way to tell them that I am not accepting the refund credit voucher that they have sent me is to contact them via telephone. This is totally unacceptable because they do not appear to be manning the telephones. They are constantly engaged or cut off after automated message says they are very busy and cannot answer the phone so please try again later. However this cannot possibly be achieved because all day the phones are down and bob on 7pm the automated message says "we are closed". This is terrible customer service. I want my cash refund and I want it now !!!
