I used to love One Medical
I used to love One Medical. I've been with them for more than 5 years. But now that I have a serious medical issue they are nothing but frustrating. My doctor is on PTO often, and there is NO WAY to directly contact her office other than leaving a message in the portal. The only number you can call is an 888 number, which always has a long hold time. And even then they will not transfer you to the office, they insist on being a go between. This is not good patient care. I have urgent forms that need to be filled out by my doctor, my doctor is on leave, and my insurance can't get ahold of my doctor easily either, even when she's in the office, because of that 888 number that no one has the patience for. I hate to change PCP in the middle of a cancer diagnosis, but I am giving up on One Medical.
