Fantastic company

Just got back from a very enjoyable holiday with Jet2holidays. From the minute we checked in at Stansted until we got home, this company was very helpful, friendly and professional. All check in desks were open and we were greeted friendly and check in was super quick. Was welcomed warmly when we boarded the flight. Having preordered meals, they were served very quickly once we were in the air. On arriving at Tivat airport, we collected our luggage and was quickly directed to our transfer by the jet2 team. Rep boarded the coach and gave us the required information on drop off order, welcome meetings etc. our hotel was first class and the rep visited often and was always happy to help. This is my go to company for my package holiday. Always my first choice as they are first class.

Terrible Company.

We are off to Montenegro next week and having a husband with limited mobility we always look to hire a mobility scooter whilst abroad. I went on to google and searched “mobility aids for hire in Montenegro”, that is exactly how I wrote it in the search bar. First and only one to pop up was motion4rent. I found the scooter that suited, filled in the country, town, hotel and dates required, paid a prepayment as requested. The next day I received an email saying that I had put down on the form South Portugal??? God knows where that had come from and that they could not supply. Fair enough, they refunded the prepayment. A couple of weeks ago I again went to search for a mobility scooter as we are getting close to our holiday. Put the same search in google-mobility scooter hire in MONTENEGRO and first and only one to pop up was YES you’ve guessed it- motion4rent. I again filled in the form thinking that I had filled it in wrong the last time. Made absolute sure I put down the correct Country, town, hotel and dates and paid a deposit again. I again received an email stating I had put down South Portugal. Somewhere between me filling in the form and them receiving it, it had changed again and the company decided to blame me. They want to google their own company and see that they come up for places they don’t supply too. Rubbish company that lies. Beware!

Great company to use.

Buy all my flea and worm treatments for my cats from here as well as various other items as and when needed. Much cheaper than the vets or pets at home. Always delivered quickly and well packaged. Highly recommend giving them a go.

Join monthly subscription

Been with Omaze now for quite a while and have to admit that I have never won anything, guess I’m just one amongst the millions of others. Pay automatically for my monthly subscription so I don’t have to remember to go and manually do it. The houses they offer are amazing, the company go above and beyond to make them the most beautiful places to live, so I keep my fingers crossed and continue to hope lol. I also like that they are affiliated with charities. My advice, give it a go. You never know.

Diabolical

Diabolical! Had an email yesterday morning 19th Jul to inform me my parcel would be delivered between 15.57 and 16.57. Despite the time period no parcel arrived. Waited till 18.20 and decided to ring their customer services, and believe me it’s really hard to find the number. Spent time pressing different numbers for different departments and problems only to be told at the end that the office was closed. Frustrated I again went on to the tracking to find the driver Richard was still a couple of miles away in Long Melford in the exact same spot he was in when I checked at 16.30 and again at 17.45. Think he lives there and had stopped at home for dinner. Suddenly at 19.10 the doorbell rings and the parcel which was homed in a cardboard box was dropped outside my front door (driver not to be seen). Box was crushed and ripped and open down one side. Some of its contents were missing and everything else was crushed. Why companies use this courier service is beyond me. This isn’t the first and probably won’t be the last time I have problems with this company. Wouldn’t use if I had a choice.

Absolutely rubbish. Save your money.

Absolutely rubbish. My first year subscription with the company worked well but since renewing last year it’s been a total letdown. The doorbell is located next to my door with a vision range to cover my whole driveway and garden. It never catches anyone walking into or out of my garden which has a good viewing area so it shouldn’t be a problem. The postman walks straight past the bell and it misses him 4 out of 5 times even though he stands in front of it to post my mail. Stops adding any motion at all after 19.30/20.00 and goes through the night recording nothing at all. I have to go on to live view the next day to kick it in to start again although I don’t know why I bother. Have followed all the steps I’ve been told to do, even changed Wi-Fi at one stage but still useless. Save your money, it’s not worth the cost. I won’t be renewing my subscription.

VERY UNHAPPY

Changed from Vodafone broadband and phone calls to these. Change over was within 3 days. Very quick indeed. Filled out the switch over form online like most people do where I was asked if I wanted to keep my landline number which I ticked as I’ve had the same number for twenty years. Switched 2nd May. Broadband fine, can make outgoing calls but if I rang home tells me the number is not recognised. Having made 5 phone calls over the bank holiday weekend, on average lasting 40 mins each and answering the same questions over and over again. After two more phone calls today 6th May, I was informed that my number had changed as I had filled the form in wrong?! I change providers at the end of each contract and my number has always been carried forward with no hassle, so no I did not fill the form in wrong. I work from home and my husband is disabled and we need a landline. I told them that I needed my old number and was told you will have to cancel then and put in another order. I was told that was the only way I could do this but that it would take 1-2 weeks for it to be activated even though it only took 3 days when it first was activated. I’m an accountant and need both the internet and calls and could not go that long without either so I was forced now in to accepting this new number which is going to cause me so much hassle in contacting everyone that uses it, including various hospitals for my husband. Wish I hadn’t changed. Wouldn’t recommend at all. My biggest regret now is that I should have come to trust pilot first and read the reviews. Four days in to a two year contract and I am already a very unhappy customer.

Not normally a fan of this company as…

Not normally a fan of this company as they knock so quietly on the door (despite the fact we have a ring doorbell and a door knocker that is hard to miss), we never seem to hear them. I’m sure sometimes they just don’t want to deliver. But a big thank you to Jamie who delivered on Sunday 1st Dec in the time frame given, actually not only knocked but rang the doorbell. Was friendly and efficient, you are a saving grace for this company. If it wasn’t for you a 1* would be given. Thank you.

Beautiful cakes and excellent service

Ordered two cakes for anniversaries on the same day, both were well packaged and delivered in the time frame. Both parties were thrilled with their own individual cakes and said they were the best they had ever had. Have now ordered another one for my parents anniversary at the end of December and am looking forward to receiving that one. Very happy customer indeed. Thank you

Great company

Great company. I decided to try mounjaro to help aid my diet. Had to fill in a questionnaire which was then passed to one of their physicians to decide whether I was eligible or not. Once passed I received my item, well packaged and kept cool via ice blocks. Every 2 months I have to refill in the questionnaire to be reconsidered for the continued use of the medication. Highly recommend them.

Polite and professional delivery driver

Ordered my usual HelloFresh order, and received my tracking and delivery times, 2 hour window, which I don’t mind. The driver was well within the delivery window, condition of my item was perfect. Having recently fallen down the stairs and broken my back, explained to the young driver that I was unable to lift the box off him, so he went above and beyond to help me. Delivered it in to my hallway, was extremely polite and very professional. This young man is an asset to this company.

Company loves to rip you off

If I could give this company minus stars I would. Ordered some saucepans from them, was given a date they would be delivered on. Date passed, no item and no updates from the company. Contacted customer services via email as that seemed the only option open to me and waited. After a few days was told that Wilko would get on to the supplier to see what was happening. Few more days passed and nothing, so again mailed them. Again after a few days they got back to me saying item in question was out of order so they could cancel the order if I wished and give me a refund. Wrote informing them that yes I wanted a refund. Shouldn't a refund be instantly given if the item is out of stock anyway? 7 days and no refund, so wrote again, only to be told again that they would get in touch with the supplier and could not give me a refund until they had spoken to them? All very odd as it seems they had already checked and the item was not available. Seems that nobody speaks to each other in this company. After many more emails and lots of toing and froing they finally acknowledged that the item was out of stock and that yes I could have a refund. The item cost me £35.00 but Wilko would only give me £30.00 back? After much more toing and froing, the company now just ignores me when I ask for the missing £5.00. What an absolute joke of a company and the customer services were the most appalling I have ever received. I will never be using you again and would like to warn everyone else about them. No wonder they went in to liquidation. NEVER EVER AGAIN, much better and more trustworthy shops around.

Ruddiest employees in the world.

Second time I have used Uber and will never use them ever again. Both times drivers were surly and overly rude. Order Mcdonalds today for my 3 grandchildren with an expected time of 10-15 minutes. After 35 mins had passed went out to find the driver Constantin (From the Sudbury Suffolk UberEats) sitting across the road. When I walked over to see what was going on, a phone was shoved under my nose and he ranted and raved that no number either door or phone had been given although both were filled in on the ordering process. Proceeded to tell me he had been sitting there for 10 mins ringing my phone? funny when he didn't apparently have the number, on checking no missed calls. Food cold. UberEats employ the most miserable ruddiest people I have ever come across. Will never ever ever use again

Excellent All Round Company

Was very easy to use the website and to place an order. Large choice of baked products and reasonably priced. After placing my order I realised I had put in my own address rather than the recipients. Customer service was quick to respond to my request and very helpful. Arrived intact and on the appointed date. The cake was beautifully made and delicious. Highly recommend this company. I will certainly be using them again.
