Preparing for Autumn

The staff are always pleasant in the store and loving the new season looks. I would have given 5 starts but your Apple Pay doesn’t work and I didn’t have my card with me, so I had to get my mum to pay. Slightly annoying, but still love the store.

Delivery as expected

The delivery was fine. It was not exceptional. Being very harsh one of the delivery people complained about the stair lift and they might struggle to get past it (it was no trouble at all) and then told me what to do with the packaging in case I wanted to return the product. They then went on about the issues they have had with dfs and the lack of quality of their furniture which is not exactly what I wanted to hear having just ordered furniture from there. This is only a minor quibble, but it was just a little moanie for my liking, as you have asked.

Review of Seasalt Cornwall

I have made a few purchases from Seasalt Cornwall this year. I love the colours and the outfits. They are very pretty, well made and comfortable. The return process is very easy. I also love that there are so many similar colours in their clothes, so it is easy to mix and match.
The cost of the clothing is a little on the expensive side, but in line with similar stores of this ilk. Plus, the fabrics are so comfortable that I am happy to pay for this. (The sales are regular and good, so that is a bonus). I love that it is a British product as well. (Although a shame it can’t be made in the UK). All in all lovely clothes and I have had no end of compliments whilst wearing them.

Forest green is different!! Beware!

I ordered a settee in forest green velvet. It arrived and is stunning. I then ordered a chaise lounge and it was also Forest green, but, unbeknownst to me, this forest green for this piece of furniture (ordered from DFS as well), is a totally different colour. I said to the delivery people it was the wrong colour and they said to keep it and it would be sorted out.
Now, DFS, instead of resolving the colour issue (I guess furniture is no longer made in the UK) want me to pay £130 for a piece of furniture I don’t want as it doesn’t match!!
So, not very happy at all.

Next Home Meadowhall

I went to Next home at Meadowhall to buy a mattress and what a disappointing experience.
We had to ask for a price and ask for wipes so we could try the mattress. The shop was not busy, however the assistant just gave us a pack of wipes and the price and then left us never to be seen again!!
There was nowhere to throw the dirty wipes and with the reluctance to assist us to get the right mattress, we left.
We were there to buy, but the salesperson did not seem to want to sell.
No wonder retail stores are struggling to compete with online sales when you get poor service like that!
I could understand if the store was busy and staff were serving other customers, but sadly they were more interested in chatting amongst themselves. Very disappointed and I usually like Next stores, but I cannot abide poor customer service. Especially when purchasing such a big item.

Poor experience

Went into the Sheffield Ikea and it was by far the worst experience I have had since the pandemic. No social distancing whatsoever.
We wanted to buy a mattress and they had paper covers to put for your head, but nowhere to dispose of them, so there were paper covers thrown everywhere, plus a lot of the dispensers were empty.
The customer service was non existent.
Retail is struggling at the minute and I know why!! Very disappointing. Needless to say, we left empty handed and yet went there with the intention of buying a mattress.

Pandemic failure

I have been a customer for several years and I pay a monthly price to shop with Ocado. Whilst I appreciate that things in the world have gone to pieces, it would appear that Ocado has followed suit.
I do not understand why, if they are not adding any new customers, they are having such issues with their internet and why it is proving so hard to order anything.
I am having to self isolate as I suffer from asthma and I am trying just to do my normal weekly shops, but yet cannot get a slot for love nor money and there is a two hour wait just to get to see the website.
Amazon do not seem to have any issues nor do the other grocery companies (in that you can at least go on their websites).
Ocado has been saying they are sorting this out, but two weeks later, it is still a nightmare.
Please let us know why you are having such a difficult time if you are only catering for your usual customers? Not happy at all.
