website was not working very well

website was not working very well. I did book a cottage but then when i got the email with the link to the property in my account the booking wasn't there. I went on chat,useless,i went to help but the page didn't work ,eventually found a phone number & rang. but they weren't sure of the problem.

Sykes does have a large range of properties but have been a bit dissapointed at the condition of some of them. When you have problems they just refer you to the owners who sometimes are remote !

booked a holiday for 5/1 advised that…

booked a holiday for 5/1 advised that there is minimal noise form building works at ajoining hotel. on investigation it isn't minimal & has been going on for 18mths.not told when i booked. As i have tinnitus phoned & asked if i could move hotel. was told i would have to pay 90% of the cost to move hotel. Was on the phone 45 minutes but wouldn't budge abta advises that you should be moved without cost. one travel company has moved out of this hotel.

I ordered a helicopter trip through…

I ordered a helicopter trip through groupon with adventure001,the first booking was cancelled then the pandemic arrived,groupon would not refund me if the supplier did not agree ! they didn't, this company doesn't not answer emails or phone but does everything via the website. second booking was cancelled. the company puts helicopter trips as upgrades expecting you to pay more. 15 mins on phones several times no answer,asked for voucher to be extended,no answer. groupon says the voucher has been redeemed although i sent them evidence that the trip hasn't taken place. loads of bad reviews of this company on trustpilot. i am loathe to pay for an upgrade but as no one answers the phones or emails that is the only thing you can do ,very few days available. groupon has a responsibility to refund but even when i showed them evidence they haven't ! I will not order anything from groupon or adventure001 beware !

the company is well organised,tour…

the company is well organised,tour leaders good,liked the fact we were seperated into smaller groups for visits.a bit repetitive in the visits we did, markets,churches etc. the hotels were lovely. didn't like the visits to outside restaurants food very limited for western palate.disappointed in river cruise as we had a "norovirus bug that swept through the ship. this seems to be a regular thing looking at reviews. boat is being replaced. a lot of people either went to hospital or local pharmacies. i would travel with APT again.
