1 out of every 3 contacts is a dud. There are little cuts or imperfections that make the contacts feel really scratchy and irritating. I started with the Classic a couple years back and contacted their customer support about the issue. They suggested upgrading to Hydro for more comfort - same problem. I like the packaging because it's compact and minimally wasteful, but I'm wasting too much money having to throw out new contacts almost every day because of the glitchy texture.


UPDATE: After seeing this review, Hubble reached out out to me to ask for the exact product number of the faulty contacts. I let them know that there have been faulty lenses in every shipment I've ever received from them. Their solution? "We'll send you a replacement" So... more of the same. Woot.

SCAM

I purchased a set along with shipping insurance on Sept 23. I have still not received them. I reached out to customer service and heard nothing. I tried following the links on their website for help. They send you to a bunch of fake sites and then force you to sign up to the Shop app with no results. I have screenshots of everything.

VERY difficult to cancel

VERY difficult to cancel. The website sends you in circles and offers no effective way to cancel.

I even thought that I managed to cancel and I was charged anyway.

I had a problem with one of my premium…

I had a problem with one of my premium voices. I got help through their customer service chat on the app. They were so freaking helpful and generous about making sure that I had the best experience with this app. I love it. I’ve been listening to all my favorite fanfics with the awesome British voices on the Speechify app. Highly recommended ❤️

I had to use this for one of our rental…

I had to use this for one of our rental properties. TransferWise is a complicated, very old school, hot mess way of sending money. The interface is frustratingly limited and weird. It takes a long time to get your transactions going. You have to give all of your bank details to the sender. Then, you get hit with a fee. TransferWise failed to deposit the money in my account because the dipshit renter entered the wrong numbers instead of my account numbers. Waaaaaay behind the times. Will not use this convoluted mess again. You’re better off using Venmo Or PayPal or a scroll tied to a bird’s foot.

Yikes. I'm sorry to hear about the grief, but thanks for the laugh at the end there.

TransferWise is a bank to bank conversion and sending service, so we work a little differently than e-wallet senders. That in mind, if you are uncomfortable with sharing your account details with your sender, they can set up a money to email transfer. In that case, they only need your name and email address and once we get their money, we'll email you so you can give us your details directly.

When money is involved, we trust that our customers are double checking their t's and i's, but mistakes can happen.
