Screen Cracked by Badly Designed Case

After using the compostable case for 2 weeks, my phone slipped off the edge of the dinner table to the floor below (approx 2.5ft)
When I picked it up, I noticed that the corner of the top right cover had come away from the phone on contact with the floor, leaving the edge exposed and the screen cracked.
This model of cover promised “6.6ft drop protection” and “Drop It. We Dare You...These Ultra Compostable Cases keep phones safe from a 6.6-foot drop. The raised edges protect screens from every angle.”
I’ve contacted customer services & the rep has sent me copy & paste replies to say that I have misused the cover.
These covers do NOT protect phones as advertised. My iPhone 11 Pro has been ruined after only 2 weeks of using this totally inadequate product. Customer service don’t seem to want to accept any liability for the damage caused by a casetify product.

We're so sorry to hear about what happened to your phone - this certainly isn't the type of experience we want our customers to have!
We're afraid we do not assume any liability for phone damage as there are always situations where accidents can occur - even when using a highly protective case. We fully back our cases and their ability to offer superior protection to the majority of cases on the market, but there is inevitably a small chance that the phone may break when force is applied or there is a specific point of impact.
