I was not even aware of Hunt Bike Wheels until I contacted Planet X for advice on how to upgrade the wheels on my new Whippet.
They instantly recommended Hunts and even supplied a link to my required rims. From there it was a very quick process to order the wheels and have them delivered, virtually next day.
The rims were supplied ready taped for tubeless, so fitting them was a breeze - my only complaint was that a grommet would have been nice with the supplied valves.
I was more than happy with the Planet X rims, these are simply a level above in terms of hub quality and weight.
Review of Direct Vacuums
I have used this company in the distant past when they traded under their AJP Taylor name. I ordered a couple of refurbished Vax steam cleaners and when they arrived they were, as a refurbished item should be, as new.
How things have changed!
I was after a Dyson V10, and Direct Vacuums (as they are now) offered a couple of refurbished models on their site, so, bearing in mind my previous experience with them, I ordered with confidence.
The V10, when it arrived, was a heavily used secondhand item and it showed. There were scratches and scrapes on all the accessories, dings and dents on the suction tube and ground-in black staining on the filter. This was clearly not a refurbished item and so would be returned.
On their website, to make a return, they insist on an RMA. So I mailed them for one. Virtually every day for the next 10 days. When they could be bothered to reply, they were evasive and never offered the requested RMA.
I eventually gave them an ultimatum to either issue the RMA or I would ask my credit card company for a chargeback. Naturally, they couldn't be bothered to reply.
I did try phoning for the return number but they have blocked off their phones. I assume they must be in financial difficulty if they are so unwilling to issue a refund. It certainly makes you wonder how far you will get with their "12 month warranty on all goods". Good luck with that!
If you really must purchase from this shady organisation, then at least do so through their E-Bay shop where you will get buyer protection.

I have always found QMH to be very competitive on price, and I love the fact that it is online only, meaning I can view, organise and amend easily and without charge.
I have left QMH a couple of times only to come back when a competing policy strangely increased well above inflation on renewal. QMH seem not to indulge in that type of shady behaviour - I am totally satisfied with them!

I remain amazed at how Starling keep my account transactions up to date - eg, I pay for something and instantly it shows on my phone. Great for double checking!
I now have so much control over my account via the App and have set up a couple of Places where I squirrel away money for bills etc.Moving money between these accounts is a doddle.
I can also switch my debit card on and off via the App - it's all so easy! Any problems, they have very helpful contact centres.
Delighted that I switched - a very satisfied customer.

Further to my two previous accounts, listed below, I am happy to share some positive news regarding my experiences. Metro Bank actually contacted me today!
Unfortunately, the good news ends there. It was a voicemail message to which I responded within 10 minutes, but nobody I spoke to had any real idea what I was calling about and I was shunted between departments while holding on the phone. On about the third transfer, while enjoying the usual "hold music" for some minutes, I decided to end the call.
In fairness to all the respondents, they all tried their best to ascertain how they could help before passing me on to another department - but they had been put in a difficult position and I could sympathize.
So, I can only refer to "Katherine", who firstly assured me she would look into my case and feedback to me - but didn't. Then she said she would PM me to find out further details - but didn't. Instead she arranged for a Customer Representative to contact me, without giving him a clue as to what it was about.
They all gave the impression that I had either made, or wanted to make, a formal complaint.
If you are new to this, refer to my first review to see why Metro Bank made me unhappy. As for "Katherine", I tend to judge people by their actions rather than their words - while no doubt your intentions were sincere, none of them were followed through.
But - not to worry! I now belong to a different bank and have a new Credit Card company, so I have no wish to be seen as starting a vendetta against my old bank. That they have lost a very good long standing customer hopefully will come as a wake up call.

Before I posted my previous review (below) I was aware, sadly, of the many bad reviews MetroBank had received. But in many cases there was a bank response, even I got one, which indicated that the bank recognized some of its failings and was trying hard to improve matters.
In my case, Katherine apologized for my treatment and promised to look into the matter and provide some feedback. Which sounded encouraging.
I thought it might be of interest to others on here to report back how that went.
In a nutshell, exactly as before. No contact. Nothing. It would seem that the bank posts these apparently contrite responses as a form of damage limitation exercise. A kind of smokescreen to make it look like they really do care about customer satisfaction.
The reality is, apparently, they don't.

I've been with Metro Bank since almost the beginning. And they have been a good bank.
But.
Nine years down the line, my credit card limit needed raising. A simple process in any other bank - in fact, its often automatic. Not with Metro! I was amazed when, in branch, the only way they would consider raising the limit was to run a hard credit check, ignoring my exemplary account details in front of them. And this is exactly what they did.
And then told me I couldn't raise my limit! This, for a customer with a long standing excellent account history and a credit card always paid in full and on time.
I wrote a long letter to Head Office complaining about the above only to receive - nothing. So, two weeks later, I sent a follow up letter personally addressed to the Head of Customer Services.
I have yet to receive reply, explanation or response to either letter.
This from the bank that "loves to hear from you".
I have now switched my account elsewhere, and have taken out a Halifax credit card (with double my old limit!!). I remain amazed at how I was treated/ignored by Metro, but reading reviews on here makes me realise something is now badly wrong with this bank.
A pity.

I am a long standing Richer Sounds customer, so it was only natural that I would make a visit to their website part of my search for a new TV.
I could have bought a little cheaper, having studied some other sites, but what price is a 6 year warranty? That was the deal breaker!
I did however read that RS, while doing well with retail sales, (November 19 figures) it wasn't as good in web sales. I have an idea why. While either Googling or checking price comparison sites, not once did RS get a mention. So if I didn't know about them, I wouldn't have made the purchase.
Is there a reason RS don't have a presence here?
Otherwise, no complaints here - I'm now awaiting my delivery!
