3 hours late and cold food
I had ordered food, the delivery time kept increasing and increasing. the uk app did not give me an option to cancel my order. I eventually went to the restaurant to see if i could collect, this was not possible, the restaurant told me that it was likely the order would automatically be cancelled as it had passed two hours. so i had to order food while i was there. eventually the app showed that the food was on its way, i had to get a refund for the food i had ordered in store, got home to the delivery which was now almost 3 hours late, arrived absolutely freezing.
several emails back and forth with Just eat, they offered me just over £4 credit for an order of food over £40! i demanded this be escalated to a manager which it was and still nothing was done, they just told me that if i email again nothing would be done! this was all over email, no number to call or live chat. Absolutely shocking customer care, i still cant believe that they can get away with delivering food 3 hours late and freezing cold and not edible. never ever using them again!
