Poor Aftersales.

Having sent a clear email requesting how to obtain spare parts, the recipient failed to understand. This happened again with another recipient! The third email was understood and I was told the parts will be sent.
Twelve days later - no parts.

Service & Product Standard…

I have been using my internet security software from InterSecure for several years. Recently, i wanted to contact them, without success, I see they dont take calls due to covid! Also, no reply to emails!
Unsure about the standard of the products, when my McAfee identifies an issue, to action the issue it inevitable leads me to an additional cost screen around £25!

B&Q Nightmare Service and Product.

Eventually received product, bed headboard ordered on line via B&Q partner Berkfield. My contract was with B&Q, however they informed ME to chase Evri when the delivery was lost, and to contact Berkfield regarding the very, very poor product! Finally, B&Q web site prevent posting a review regarding this and other products.

BandQ no longer provide facility to write a review on their products! I needed to do so to advise others not to purchase a product which is impossible to install.

Bought new Epson XP-8605

Bought new Epson XP-8605 - checked all the facilities pros and cons before replacing my Hewlet Packard. Particularity favourable the individual inks for photo printing. However nowhere did I read 'you cannot print in black only, with a full tank while any one of the other colours have expired' - nowhere! Surely this is miss representation! Here I am intending to print black test and cannot! Wish I had my old Hewlett Packard!
Would never have bought this Epson if I had known!
I am also suspicious whether some of the coulours are completely empty , due to very little use! Can they detect/monitor the date of installation and produce empty condition due to date? Nothing will surprise me!

BEWARE!

Via a google search for 'children's books' one of the images was a book supplied by Buuks.co.uk. I clicked the image, clicked 'add to basket' and paid by credit card. There was no choice to join a book club, or to view their terms and condition!
Invoice arrived, with the price of the book only. A week or more later £15 taken from my card by Buuks. Bank stopped my card, however they would not recoup the £15 from Buuks because I did not search out the terms and condition! On my receipt there was a 3000 plus small print terms and condition. Embedded within reference to the book club.

The long structured reply from Buuks is no surprise, however it is inaccurate and very misleading! I did NOT order my book from Buuks home page, I bought it from a google search image of a book. Open and 'add to basket'. Nowhere did it say 'join a book club'. Why does the purchase default to this join a book club unknowingly! Maybe its something to do with obtaining £15 surreptitiously! It would be simple to default to 'you have not joined a book club' and include 'check this box to join a book club'! Also 3000 terms and conditions in small print... I wonder why so long, surely it cant be so that no one will read them! Beware!

Disappointing service and attitude at depot.

Internet search showed one set manhole cover keys available locally Bridgend. Phoned to confirm utilising the correct item number 770256 (there are two styles each with unique number). At counter the incorrect style - T bar handle produced! Explained! The abrupt response was 'these are the ones, and anyway they come under the same number'! I explained they dont, with no positive response or attitude. He said sorry thats all we have, said in a non apologetic tone!
Obtained the items without any problem or attitude at Jewson!

Dreadful customer survice.

Its easy to have a positive review when a supplier just supplies! Its when something goes wrong its a true test. Gas meter reading failed three months ago, informed octopus each month, two engineer appointments failed to turn up. No contact from octopus for two weeks!

Clear and Early Cost notification needed.

I realise Findmypast as most companies are a commercial operation, however to prevent potential new members such as myself a significant amount of wasted time and frustration can I suggest that Findmypast clearly indicate on the first page accessed that there will be a cost to search the actual records. Without this, as at present, it has the opposite effect, I feel have have been duped and therefore would not sign up as a customer to Findmypast.
