Review of Linley & Simpson

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Andy Bonner of Linley and Simpson is excellent

Listed our central Leeds flat for sale with Andy Bonner of Linley and Simpson. He stood out from amongst the five agents we considered and interviewed. It was a good choice. He proved to be personable, knowledgable, professional, communicative and regularly reviewed our marketing strategy and tactics to try to get viewings and ultimate sale. 2024/25 has been a very challenging time for sellers in central Leeds but I always felt Andy would get us there in the end which he did. I would certainly recommend him to prospective sellers.

Poor telephone advice

Purchasing process and delivery very efficient but telephone help (two calls) about the designated TVs, in advance of purchase, fairly poor. Had to find the information I needed (which wasn't very technical) elsewhere. Only purchased from Curry's in the end because of price

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I booked a courier service with them which they farmed out to a third party. They didn't turn up to collect the parcel. They wouldn't take any action until after 6.00pm by which time another collection time for the following day could not be organised. It then emerged they wouldn't re-book a collection unless I paid them £14.00 - even though the failure was theirs!. The on-line system didn't work. They offer no telephone number for contact and refused to call me on my number. E-mail is the only form of correspondence possible but they don't address the issues in each e-mail. They advised I could take the parcel to my local drop off point identified in their system, without charge. I drove 7.5 miles each way only to find there was currently no drop off service in operation because of Covid. I reported back by e-mail - no apology for the misleading info - just 'send us the fee and we will re-book'. I cancelled the service demanding a return of my fee because all the failures to deliver the service had been of their making. They made a part repayment but kept £11.30 'cancellation fee'. This is a company to be avoided at all costs as evidenced by the incredible 54% of respondents on Trustpilot who have rated their service as poor. How I wish I had looked for reviews before making a booking.

Review of Ticketmaster UK

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I booked the front row of the first…

I booked the front row of the first tier of the theatre as defined on the ticketmaster website. I.e the first raised row of seating behind the stalls. This was specifically chosen to give my three year old grandson the best view possible. On arrival we discovered that the first row of the tiered seating isn't elevated at all. In effect it is the last row of the stalls with consequent poor view of the stage. Very disappointing. The ticketmaster seating diagram is inaccurate and misleading
