I would t even give one star if it was possible.

We’ve had 3 loans off hitachi over 11 years and never missed a payment . 6 payments from current loan ending we applied for a loan to pay off balance transfer cards that were due to end and start charging stupid interest rates. We never ran up debt on living expenses but renovations to add value to the home we are selling next year at a huge profit . Credit cards used and juggled so we’ve paid tiny fees & no fees over the years of renovation . So we are not using cards for day to day expenses . However hitachi didn’t even ask the purpose of the loan - refered to underwriting so they could have ! Instead we have sold some antiques which hurts as they are inherited to clear the credit cards. For that reason I will never forgive them. I was approved then rejected so they give false hope then leave a footprint and rejection on the credit file. Good job it’s next year we will be applying for a mortgage when we sell up.

Boots John Corbett Drive Stourbridge

Fantastic service - I’m clinical extremely vulnerable & pay for home delivery. I receive a call , and delivery is next morning. Well worth paying the delivery charge. Courteous driver who waves at me leaving the prescription in porch so I can retrieve once she has closed the door. I did have one driver who was abrupt and he wouldn’t leave - until he saw me Retrieve the prescription when I opened the door! I know the rules around controlled drugs but it was left inside a secure storm porch where I immediately retrieve once it’s SAFE to do so! His attitude was not in the spirit of social distancing & I have a very very rare illness so not the normal routine at all! But overall I’m very pleased.

Excellent experience two weeks ago I ordered some items so we can get on with our loft conversion during lockdown as my partner was isolating due to a potential close to a positive person covid scare. Anyway we agreed on Friday 8th delivery- and the parcel came in Thursday. Excellent service and also excellent price!

I do hope that trustpilot are doing an IP search on the positive reviews on the page. They are obviously FAKE. I’m a forensic writing expert & I can see from a first glance they are being written by the same person. I will not give away exactly how I analyse but I can assure you that these are not genuine. I have emailed this company numerous times regarding purchasing a freezer and no reply the email bounces back. Their telephone line is an answerphone - AVOID!

Review of Ocado

Completely gutted

Completely gutted. Ocado have been asking for bags back plus ANY OTHER SUPERMARKETS bags . I dutifully crammed 42 one delivery then 47 last delivery. Just noticed no refund on the 42 then this last lot of 47 capped at number of bags of previous order! So 55p refund on 47 bags. They say they didn’t charge for the bags during lockdown etc but these bags are from well before the pandemic plus bags I’ve paid for off other supermarkets that I could have re-used. They do not mention any cap on amount. Just encourage you to return ANY bags as long as they fit into one bag and don’t exceed 99. Gutted.

EDIT - Ocado again are ignoring the fact they solicited people to give other retailers bags to their drivers. As I said these were my selection of bags that I have paid for. If you are not going to pay the 5p per bag then you need to say so. I don’t have any deliveries during lockdown off ocado & as I said the bags were what I collected over time.

Before the pandemic when I had a delivery, I haven’t necessarily given the driver the whole amount of bags previously delivered. Hence you end up with a surplus over time. It’s just a rip off - and I’m afraid that something so minor to you will now ensure I never shop with you again.

Hi there!

We’re sorry for any confusion regarding the bag recycle bonus scheme.
We haven’t charged for the bags we gave you between 21st March - 21st September, so the refund for bags collected will be capped at the number of bags you were last charged for.

In other words, if you had a delivery on 20th March and were charged for 12 bags, we’ll then refund you the cost of those bags. After the 22nd of September, we’ll continue to cap the refund at the number of bags you received in each of your previous orders.

We only started charging 5p per bag from 22nd of September.

As of 21/12/2020 we have paused our carrier bag collection scheme due to the recent government announcement. We are reviewing our policy to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.

Thank you for your patience.

Good price & delivery

We used tradepoint for bulk delivery. Gravel and limestone was cheapest price easily beating Selco builders merchants. Driver dropped the bags where asked and was polite. Lot of negative reviews on here , but can only speak for our own experience. We have another delivery this week & will give an update on that too. As I am disabled, I will need the plyboard we ordered placed in my garage - so here’s hoping they don’t disappoint.

Overnight zoopla have devalued our home…

Overnight zoopla have devalued our home (and it was already under the value local estate agents have valued it at! )
I mean we went from £260/280k to £141k it’s laughable! To think people will use them as a gauge of the property market now is hysterical, they won’t ever be taken seriously again!
Worse thing is you can’t even ask them to alter their estimates either. You cant even remove your property from their register either as apparently it’s “public information” not personal, they are holding - this is absolutely disgusting. They are basically devaluing your property & not being held to account! I think it’s a ploy to devalue the property market possibly cause a crash? Someone must be benefiting from this! You can ask a local zoopla estate agent to revalue ..... so if it’s not a zoopla agent it won’t get changed? They even got the council tax band WRONG!
