Have been using for years, good prices, fast delivery and have always replied promptly to emails. Recently ordered a tank that arrived broken (courier’s fault) and they were really quick in replying and sending a replacement. My go-to site for my tanks!
Review of Currys
I received an office chair in a badly damaged box with most of the pieces missing. I requested a return which was eventually collected (first collection nobody turned up) and heard nothing for approx. 3 weeks after. When I chased it I was told my return was being processed and I’d hear back within 48hrs. A week later I reached out again and spoke to a very rude assistant on live chat who wouldn’t listen to anything I said and just repeatedly pasted the same generic response before ending the chat abruptly. I was told the return couldn’t be processed until the full item was received back and I desperately tried to explain I was returning it because I never received the full item. I then had to spend over an hour on the phone with someone who was much more helpful and understood the issue, so I was feeling hopeful. They did however believe the item had been sent back to me, which it never was, so I’m now out of pocket AND have no item. I was told I’d hear back within 48 hours and my refund should be processed now that they understood, but a week later I’ve heard absolutely nothing. Feeling pretty hopeless now and have lost £90 which right now is a lot of money. Really disappointed as I use curry’s all the time but this experience, which has been going on for almost 2 months now, is enough to put me off for life. If anyone can help please get in touch!

Review of The Game Collection
Placed my preorder months in advance (and had to pay upfront) but delivery was 3 days late. Only received a dispatch email on the day of release, so clearly this wasn't shipped on time. My partner had ordered from another retailer and received their copy a day early, so I don't think Royal Mail can be blamed in this instance. I also ordered during the extra £5 points promotion, which I never received. I then emailed customer service with these complaints and never got a reply, hence the 1 star. Have used in the past without issue but very disappointed on all fronts this time and won't be returning.
