Delivery placed on the doorstep in full street view!

I never meet the deliverer. He never rings the door bell. Parcels left out on the doorstep even when I am out. No attempt to conceal them. There is even a handy plant to hide them behind. He dashes up, dumps it and then runs off. Luckily no one has ever taken my parcels, yet!

Just drops and runs does not ring the doorbell.

Deliveries arrive as expected but he never rings the doorbell. Deliveries are just left on the doorstep by the door in full view of the street. We have a doorbell and are quite often in. There is also a large plant near the doorstep . parcels would be out of view left there.

Box was damaged.

Sadly the cardboard box containing the item inside the bag was squashed and damaged. Fortunately the item inside the damaged box was in tact.
It would be helpful to me if the driver rang the doorbell. I was in. The package was well concealed. But I could have received it if he had rung the doorbell!

Just what I wanted and a very good deal!

Store had just the product I wanted in my size. Sophia at the checkout made sure I got the best deal available. Including checking if I had a National Trust card. The product was on offer and by the time she had finished the price was even cheaper. I got a really good deal for the product I wanted.

Delivered to my doorstep but not put out of view or delivered to a neighbour. Luckily no one wanted my live plants!

Live plants delivered carefully

My live plants were delivered in perfect condition. Tracking was easy. I was able to give delivery instructions whilst the parcel was on its way just in case it arrived during the short period i was out of the house. Very efficient!

Great quality plants. But......

Great quality plants. But very poor customer service and notification of parcels arriving. Poor customer web site. There is now no information about past or up coming orders. Eighteen months ago during lockdown as well as the plants being great the customer service and website were really excellent. Please sort this out Suttons!

Great purchase

Great purchase. My recent order arrived quickly. Dress was great. Good quality. Sizing has been difficult in the past. I chose a smaller size than suggested for my measurements and it fits perfectly.

Size chart is not accurate for me.

This was my second go at ordering clothes to fit. My measurements indicated a large size would fit. However these were too large. I reordered Medium and they fit. Success!

I have also checked our records and I can see the order in the large size has been received in to our warehouse on the 31st May. The refund may take 3-5 working days to show on the card used for the order.

I used the size chart, took my measurements, and ordered accordingly. The items I received were far too big for me. I returned them for a refund.

Only 3 stars because .....

Only 3 stars because this time the website failed to record the offer price for the plants I ordered. The customer service response to my email was very slow. After 7 days I phoned and customer services said they would sort it out and refund.me. The invoice was corrected in my online Sutton's account very quickly but it took a few days more for the refund to be credited to my card and I received no notification from Sutton's about the refund. So I have no paperwork just my credit card statement. It took 11 days for Sutton's to respond to my email! Snail mail! By then it had all been dealt with thanks to my phone call.
Having said that their plants are great. Last years winter veg are still producing well!

Parcel left in full view when we were out!

A recent Hermes delivery was not really satisfactory. The delivery person left it in full view on my doorstep whilst I was out for the day. In the past parcels have been put at the back of my house but not this one. It could have easily been placed behind the large and I mean large plant by the front door. But no, it was left in full view by the front door. Of late the Hermes delivery person has assumed we'd be in and just rung the bell and left it on the doorstep. They were gone each time I reached the door. Fine in lock down but now things have eased they should not assume folk are in.

Parcel not left in a concealed spot

The parcel was delivered . But we were out and the delivery person made no attempt to put it out of full view in spite of the fact that there is a large leafy plant by the door that would have concealed it beautifully. Of late the delivery person has not waited to check if we were in and has just left it. I guess that is what happened yesterday.
Hermes, please get them to check if recipients are in and then to consider where might be a good [place to leave it. Thank you
