Review of Revolut

Contact Frustration

I'll start on a positive note because until recently I had been very happy with Revolut when spending money abroad and have recommended Revolut to family and friends.

However if things go wrong and you find yourself locked out of your account you will find it difficult to resolve because it is virtually impossible to make contact. A change of my email address has lead to my particular issues.

Revolut's only contact solution is to use the "24/7 in-app chat line" but of course if you can't access your account you also can't reach the chat line for help.

I have tried contacting them via the "back door" using their feedback email address but the response is sporadic (around 2 to 3 weeks between reponses) and just when you think progress is being made everything goes quiet.

I also used their complaints process but have not received a reply.

It is now 3 weeks since my last contact and I am now past caring.
In total my issue has been running for over 3 months and I remain clueless about Revolut's intentions.

As it is I can live without Revolut but please be aware as this could become a nightmare for you.
