I wanted to boost the performance of a 6 year old PC by replacing the HDD with an SSD.
I was only using about a third of the HDD's 1TB capacity & decided that a 500GB SSD would be suitably large. Having never cloned a drive before, I was most impressed by the online instructions and videos explaining in easy steps how to do this. The procedure went very smoothly and I'm amazed at the huge boost in speed that resulted.

This was a very enjoyable holiday. It was good to be met at the airport by the resident Involved Holidays rep (João). Throughout the 7 day holiday he looked after the group with meticulous attention and tremendous good humour. The three birdwatching excursions were led by Elena - an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who ensured that everyone saw as much as possible of the abundant bird life.
On the other days João gave plenty of advice on local attractions including a personally led tour of Tavira.
The hotel was a unique "one off", that sat on its own only yards from the beach.

Just bought an attractive oatmeal coloured kettle from their Dawn range: its identical (apart from colour) to the Dusk range that 'Which' highly recommended. So far I'm very happy with this kettle; however the true test is how well it looks and performs after several years of daily use. Ordered directfrom Kenwood & received very promptly.

The binoculars I ordered mid afternoon arrived less than 48 hours later. Very carefully packed in a large well padded box and therefore in pristine condition. Very competively priced. Would not hesitate to use LCE again.

I wanted to order two coffee machine filter pods. Beko charge a premium price for these (£17.16 each) in that each item is 25% the price of a brand new machine (CEP5152B). As a 'new' customer I had earlier recieved a 10% discount code for my first order. At checkout this didn't work. They also charge more for delivery for orders over £25, therefore my two small items would add a further premium despite it making no difference to handling / postage.
I put these points to their help-line. I was told I'd get the discount in the form of a refund without explaining how I should proceed. The advisor's response to the delivery charge was to direct me to their delivery information that I'd already read.
When I was typing a response, the chat was closed. This is no way to do business - they have certainly lost mine.

I ordered a Stihl grass trimmer on 3rd May. I was dismayed at the delivery price of £16.75 but since I placed the order in the evening I couldn't query it. They charged delivery as a 'large' item (120cm) supposedly based on Parcelforce-24 prices. However Parcelforce charges the same for all parcels upto 150cm long.
And incidentally it wasn't delivered within 24 hours.

I wanted to replace a pair of conventional full-turn taps with quarter turn ones. Tech support emailed details of 2 ceramic cartridges - one Hot and one Cold - as suitable replacements. When they arrived I realised that the hot cartridge has opposite rotation from normal.
They ought to have drawn attention to this & suggest I use 2 Cold cartridges to achieve conventional on/off use.
Tech support offered to replace the hot one FOC if I returned it. However they broke that promise & simply refunded the item. This meant I had to re-order a replacement & pay £6.50 a second time for delivery.

The company stocks an impressive range of items & delivery is fast but I feel rather let down by their ambiguous technical advice & not fulfilling their promise to correct the problem arising from it.
