Amevista did not return any contact and so, after 3 weeks, I panicked and returned using royal mails international posting.
Amevista say I did not attach a customs form to the outside of the package meaning that they will deduct £48 from my refund - despite the sunglasses being faulty.
This is despite breaching multiple consumer laws throughout the transaction

Horrendous experience - the business does not honour consumer rights in the UK.
The website is not clear regarding how to return faulty goods so despite emailing, and messaging them on social media 5 times and waiting 3 weeks for a response, I returned the sunglasses at my own expense (£12). They have refused to reimburse me.
It took weeks to acknowledge receipt of the returned sunglassds and they have refused to reimburse me within the 14 day period from evidencing return (which is the law!) I have now waited 14 days from their receipt of the sunglasses and STILL I have not received a refund.

Counterfeit goods refusing to refund. I bought AirPods 6 weeks ago. On receipt it was obvious they were counterfeit. The look and feel we’re not authentic, including the light, sound quality and battery life. I contacted KF Direct and they said I could return and provided a pre paid Royal Mail label.
I returned the item nearly 6 weeks ago - when there were NO Royal Mail strikes. Other things I posted that day have been received by other retailers. Despite contacting KF Direct over 8 times (with a photo of the postage receipt) but they keep blaming the Royal Mail strikes.
Firstly, as previously mentioned there were no strikes when I posted the goods. Secondly, I’m aware this has happened to a number of other customers which suggests KF Direct do this regularly and do not refund items. Thirdly, the return of the product is not a consumers responsibility if they have provided proof of return and the return delivery was arranged by the trader.
KF Direct - it’s been 6 weeks - please refund me ASAP in accordance with UK consumer protection laws !
