My third run at Media City

I love the location, running over the iconic bridges and taking in the stunning architecture. The event is well organised and the marshalls are so friendly and supportive, creating a friendly and inclusive event. The 10k is 4 laps of the course which can get a bit repetative,however, the flat course means lots of pb potential. Always a great medal and treats at the finish. Results come through quickly and the race photographs are free.

Service not great

Very poor service. I'm not sure what I am paying for. I rang to arrange a landlord's gas safety certificate and I was given the details of an engineer (I could have done this myself). It took some time to book a mutually convenient appointment. After the inspection, I was told I would receive the report in the next 48 hours. However, two weeks later and no sign of the report. I rang the customer service team who promised I would receive the report within an hour. The report did not arrive and I had to make several phone calls before eventually receiving a copy of the report. The whole experience was very stressful and time consuming. I will be cancelling my contract asap.
UPDATE
Hometree did contact me following my review. They told me that the delay was due to the engineer not knowing the procedure. I was compensated for the delay thus increase in rating to 3 ☆. Hopefully they will learn from mistakes and the service will improve.
