AI Drop Down message Nuisance

Recommended by a friend to approach Stowe for advice. Had a browse around their website but constantly bombarded by their drop down message asking questions concerning AI which were all answered but it still kept dropping down. I wont have anything to do with AI and not interested any way which is probably why there was no let up, it didnt like my answers. Tried everything to get shot of it but it keeps reappearing which stops further browsing of the website. Will you please remove it as it impairs what is being looked for.

Don't deserve a star at all

Don't deserve a star at all. Half way through year Build/Home insurance policy then couple of weeks ago needed to change address details. This is where the real meaning extortion comes into itself. Just to change address I was quoted an eye watering £175 (yes, couldn't believe what I was hearing, checked and re-checked, operative didn't understandable English). I also asked if our policy covers belongings in transit, answer came as no but the charge will be £46+. Total for both over £221. The whole thing is a disgrace. I immediately went through an alternative Insurance provider who insured us for a whole year plus cancellation refund - in the end for £30 I changed address details and was insured for transit. The moral of the story Admiral - sort yourselves out, stop trying to fleece customers and provide a service. Don't bother apologising as not interested.

Sorry Jo but there isn't anything to discuss, Admiral shouldn't have tried it on in the beginning, wont be dealing with you ever again.

Unable to Complete house purchase as Lloyds refused to transfer our savings

Lucky to get 1 star. Lloyds Bank are money grabbing scum. We needed to transfer money to pay for our new home. LLOYDS BANK REFUSED TO GIVE US OUR MONEY. Would only allow only £10k online which is no good. Called them which was again was refused and told to go in branch which is only open certain hours and that's if you can find one. If we'd at least managed to get the 10% deposit paid, we would have lost it as Lloyds wont allow us to have our own money. Unless we can pay when arranged - Lloyds will have to cough up either 2k or 30k. The money couldn't be until asked for early in readiness because solicitors aren't allowed to hold funds as against Finance rules. We have banked with Lloyds for 50 years but not no more. The bank is scum and will swing for how they've treated us. DONT BOTHER WITH THE USUAL SORRY OR USE THE WORD SECURE BECAUSE THAT COVER EXCUSE DOES NOT WASH ANY MORE. The best description for these people is "thieves" just when everyone thought the word "highwayman" had phased out!

Lucky to get 1 star

Lucky to get 1 star. Had a letter few months ago stating if I didn't use my card by a certain date they wouldn't renew it. The account is savings with my money, therefore, operation should be of my choosing. The letter was extremely bullying. I complained asking what they were going to do with my money if no card was renewed which affectively would close my account. They evaded the question (answer to which I know but want them to admit it). Savers/borrowers provide these mentally deficient individuals with a living, yet they treat all of their customers like dirt. The chair swinging waste of space Complaints Investigators at the UK head Office (yes, you know who you are!) has been asked simple questions twice but chosen to ignore and evade. Can only guess how they obtained the role it wasn't through proper training or hard work, maybe a degree bought from a website. Customer Service doesn't exist in any part this disgraceful organisation. About time Directors, Chief Executives and other sad thieving members of the board realised how embarrassing they are to their customers and should feel privileged to have them. Instead they have an attitude of contempt and couldn't care less.

1 star is for Argos (lucky to get that)…

1 star is for Argos (lucky to get that) and definitely not in store staff who really deserve 5 stars. Ordered a laptop in store, made a BIG mistake of arranging for it to be delivered. Item didn't arrive, told delivery lorry broke down on motorway and item rearrange (heard nothing), customer services (loosely termed) stated my item wasn't even on the lorry. Told item needed to be re-ordered so had to return to store for refund (I wanted my laptop not refund). In the meantime item price went up and I couldn't have it at lower price. I went back instore where "STAFF WERE EXCELLENT" and rectified what happened. They made a call and told a stock of 3 of the laptops were sitting in my local warehouse. Wrote complaint letter with only reply was a "cop out" phone call which goes to show a rubbish company Argos have turned into. No refund of fuel used or postal costs against written complaint. This company couldn't care less with no respect for customers without which Argos would not exist. Whole terms of events were a disgrace.
Reference Argos reply - the difficulty was YOU cancelled my order and refused point blank to re-order, do not refer to your "customer service" as it plainly doesn't exist. Due to you accepting the only people who actually were representing any form of service, you have admitted your "customer services" department isn't fit for purpose. By recording bad Argos practices, potential customers need to know the true colours.

Visited the "Fleming Arms" Southampton…

Visited the "Fleming Arms" Southampton today for lunch. Clare behind the bar served us and was excellent - food was very good as well served by another who was friendly and accommodating. We will visit again. Greene King need to remember their frontline staff make the company work not office based management. Many thanks.

Absolute disgrace

Absolute disgrace, not worth even 1 star. Sent a Nationwide Building Society cheque on behalf of my daughter (who is over 18) made payable to NS&I, she filled out the form for more Premium Bonds. They returned it to her saying NS&I do not accept building society cheques from Nationwide also can't take cash and the form to the Post Office because they don't do that any more. NS&I want people to pay with a Debit card over the phone which I can't do as it will be in my name and I haven't got one any way. Even for my self they have made it virtually impossible to buy Premium Bonds. She can't send a Nationwide current a/c cheque as be the same problem. Everything is all on their terms. I've now got to go back to the Nationwide to put the money back into my account which will probably be difficult aswell. My daughter works very long hours and unable to go the bank (thats if there's one to go into anyway). Thinking maybe just give her the money to spend on whatever. The whole thing has become impossible, Im also thinking cashing in all of mine and investing elsewhere. No wonder investors are fed up with them. Can't even give a present without agro. Money laundering or Covid nonsense is only an excuse for very bad, dare I say, service and behaviour.

Scammers have been trying numerous…

Scammers have been trying numerous times.
Will send a courier, you pay £100 then will return the money when item received.
My mum is interested in your item, plse email her with details of item and your PayPal account using this link.
One today who wanted me to post item and now looking at Hermes, I know whats next - the PayPal.
Have informed Gumtree (after very great difficulty in contacting them, obvious they don't want you to) and Police fraud who it seems also not interested. Hopefully buyers and sellers will heed the warnings of reviews as Gumtree don't care, these fraud and scamming tactics are rife.

Fed up with shocking food and disgraceful service

Last week had bad lettuce delivered, sent email of complaint but to date have been ignored. Week before last 2 for £4 sausages delivered one pack was use by 2 days before delivery and other was day of use by. Broccoli day before use by. I am fed up with being palmed off with rotten food. Even the discount produce in store has longer shelf life. Fed up with "out of stock" when I know the items are there. I am now going back to shopping in store either Asda or elsewhere. Since Asda being taken over, the online shop is disgraceful. Sainsburys deliveries are exceptionally busy as Asda customers are defecting. Asda lucky to get 1 star rating.

Getting more and more disillusioned…

Getting more and more disillusioned with the delivery products. Twice within couple of months potatoes out of stock (as if!) You have an order ready paid for which has items you know are there which says out of stock. You make another separate order for the said items and behold they are now in stock but you cant amend the original order because it says out of stock. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER ASDA, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

1 star is being generous

1 star is being generous! Fareham branch staff are very nice but Fox & Son are anything but professional. The whole company is connected with other companies who are also reminiscent of a circus. No communication, treat buyers (also potential clients) like dirt, tell lies, customer service non existent. Will avoid if at all possible in the future but unfortunately unsuspecting sellers will still use them.

Avoid these people at all costs

Avoid these people at all costs. Call your Mortgage advisor for assistance or even go straight to the Executive Director of the provider. I did, that was the only way to deal with these morons. Massive complaint was launched and compensation received. Report to Law society and the Ombudsman. I cant believe this lot are still in business. I would not give even one star.
