Best Customer Service ive ever seen

already left a glowing review of the product in december last year, but this warrants another. Roxi has simply the BEST customer service ive ever experienced (namely Lee).
Had a few minor issues over the last 8 months (such as finding lag on a song, or experimental features). Lee has always replied within minutes, even at 10pm friday night. Ive been promoting roxi to a load of my friends for a while based on this, and theyve purchased devices that they love too.

Sent me a book covered in blood during a pandemic

i recently ordered some books from musicmagpie, to make lockdown more bearable.

One of the books i was sent was covered in blood. Now, this isnt great at the best of times, however, during a pandemic; i feel like this would warrant more than just a standard form response.
Since music magpie dont have a customer service number, everything has had to be done by email. I have been corresponding with them all day, getting standard response after standard response.

They have refunded me for the book and offered me 30% off my next order (which again may or may not be covered in Biohazard and/or people parts). They have also asked me to 'dispose of book'. Meaning, i'm without the book i ordered, but i at least get 30% off if i want to roll the dice and place another order with them. I've been offered no compensation or vouchers for being sent a book covered in blood that could be infected with Coronavirus, during the middle of a pandemic

I decided i wasnt happy with this resolution, and asked which ombudsman they answer to, so i can lodge a formal complaint. I have now asked 5 times which ombudsman they answer to, and they are refusing to tell me, saying that they have escalated this issue internally.


*EDIT*- MusicMagpie reported my comment as fake to try get it taken down from Trustpilot, i then forwarded trustpilot evidence in the form of my receipt and pictures of the blood covered book. Trustpilot then reinstated my review.

MusicMagpie have said theyve opened a complaint for me, its been over 12days since i heard anything from them, and that was to tell me they were closing my case

You closed my complaint because i said you were useless and told you to actually read my complaint instead of sending standard form responses. And its fine. Books binned, i'm refunded, this review gets to stay here, and feefo and google for the rest of time, and hopefully paul and his nan's romance is flourishing. Bye

When we were informed of this, we immediately asked for you to dispose of the item and a full refund was issued. An internal investigation is being conducted to discover if this substance is present within our warehouse and we are very thankful that this has been brought to our attention.

We offered a 30% discount off your next order for the inconvenience this has caused. We are very sorry if this discount was considered insufficient.

As previously advised, we are not regulated by an ombudsmen therefore we could not advise further on this.

We request additional information with every review so we can look into this further. We did not receive a response within 5 days therefore the review was investigated.

Your complaint was closed due to the abusive language and images sent to our Complaints Department. We do not condone this behaviour therefore the complaint was closed.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused by this matter.

ROXI- A TOUR DE FORCE

Absolutely love our little Roxi Jukebox
We predominantly use it for its since with the stars mode, and it's absolutely fantastic.

Coupled up with a fantastically responsive Social Media and Email customer service team that reply to emails in minutes rather than hours, i can honestly say that our Roxi Jukebox had been an investment.

Me and my partner love having a singsong after a few drinks, and the number of obscure songs on it is staggering (in a good way!).

Would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking of buying one!!

Absolutely perfect

Absolutely perfect. Cannot fault them at all.
Customer service (via twitter) incredibly responsive, allowed me to upgrade postage after id already purchased to allow me to recieve it quicker for an early xmas present for my other half, works exactly as described.

My one suggestion, would be that the singalong mode lights up each word in the line at a time, to allow fully immersive singing, but, for a newer product, could not be more impressed. The voice search is the best ive ever seen on a smart device too.
I would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing
