2022 - 2025 and running well

I bought model DD8L dehumidifier back in the early part of December 2022 and I did do a review shortly after and now I thought a follow-up would be appropriate.
The unit is used mostly between October and April and has operated flawlessly .
Sometimes for general moisture removal within the house and on other occasions to dry laundry.
In both uses it does a very good job .
The antibacterial filter is cleaned as recommended and when season is over the unit is boxed and stored .
It makes living area much more comfortable and also delays the time for putting central heating on .
I know of two others who bought this model after hearing my experience and they too are delighted.
Very simply , happy customers and users

Most recent electricity bill and…

Most recent electricity bill and division of units . The bill very simply was not correct . I had been monitoring and recording usage since start of new contract and it was easy to see there was a failure . I put it in writing along with dates of usage etc and it was not sent as a complaint but as ,hopefully , a request to look at the information . Yes I got an email reply and basically nothing was being done or even looked at . It was suggested that I go to the chat line . I was not impressed and I have tried the chat line before but while it is all very friendly it doesn't really get things done . I was left somewhat deflated and wondering which route I should now take to deal with this . Absolutely not impressed with customer service . There is more to this which goes back to the start of this contract and I have tried to mention it but it was a total waste of my time . It is just a great pity your sales team couldn't get in touch before I started a new contract but instead get in touch by phone after I have taken the new contract , to then try and get me to take an alternative . You monitor when I am looking on your website and then email me to tell me so but you don't then actually speak to me to take things further . Poor poor show . I have now received a reply to my review and asking me to contact via X or Facebook. I don't subscribe to either platform and yet again here is another hurdle from Scottish Power.

The item I was looking for was immediately available which was great and allowed the job to be done quickly . It was well priced and looked of decent quality for the money .
Staff were also friendly and that makes for a good day .

Digital 7 day programmable timer.
Easy to place order and response very prompt.
Dispatched quickly and package also trackable which is great .
Easy to set programme and is working just fine .
Very neat looking and seems good value for money.

Humans , better than tapping on a screen

Great to be looked after by someone who enjoys their job .
I had tried to make the purchase online but it failed and so I made it instore.
Prefer to deal with human beings anyway.
If I make a purchase online it is really only to ensure that the item is not sold before I get to the store .
Also if there are questions you need answered ,that is also better done instore.

All questions answered

I spoke with two different agents today and both were very good and clear in what they had to say and to answering questions that I had
One agent was able to give some advice on ev chargers and ideas that I can then follow up . All useful info .
The other agent gave me the answers to questions I had on my recent , smart meter ,installation . Also did a reset on meter reading frequency . All done very easily and with a bit of chat and humour .

The vehicle was well presented and mileage allowance was generous. Over longer distance very economical and comfortable.
Reception staff were welcoming helpful friendly and that makes for a good experience.

Sealed Units : first purchase

I have used ,Sealed Units , for the first time .
Ease of using the site was a big plus .
Contact with the company to ask a couple of questions was also a good experience .
The order was placed and a time for completion given .
Advice on progress and an earlier than expected delivery : bonus .
Probably due to time of year and things not being super busy .
Time slot advised and arrived on time and all intact and delivery driver on the ball .
So a good first time experience .

Keep it simple

After looking on an insurance comparison site , the next step was to make a choice .
I opted to come to Ageas . Cover seems to be comparable with some others and of course end price is important .
Filling out details was easy and so much information is already available to insurance companies which relieves tedium of repeat form filling.
Going to payment was easy and replies on completion came quickly .
Hope never to need the services but if responses are as quick as has been so far : then great .
Liked the option to be able to not auto renew as that with some companies is difficult to cancel .
