More detail would be helpful, and inspire some confidence that I am getting what I need.

I expected an e-mail with details of my cover within (at least) 3 days of applying, but nothing has arrived. - I also suspect that for the same monthly rate, I could have added other elements, such as public liability insurance to my cover. The questionnaire I completed, when applying, seemed to have a fixed rate, but was a bit vague.

I've tried to give you a call to discuss this but have not been able to get through.

Having looked at our email logs I can see that an email attaching your policy documents was sent to you on 13 September at 16:10 GMT+1 (shortly after you set up the cover on our website). It sounds as though the email may have found its way into your junk mailbox or blocked by your spam filter. I have resent the email this morning. Please give us a call if you don't receive them.

In relation to adding public liability to your cover, please give us a call and we would be happy to talk you through this.
