When you have a lot of commissioned content being published daily, it’s very important to make sure it doesn’t contain copy-pasted stuff. Even if articles are AI-made they still contain plagiarism sometimes. This is crazy, but it is what it is. This makes this tool essential for us.

We've subscribed for the Email API plan, and I expected it to provide stats per email: was it delivered, opened, clicked, etc? By default, the service offers only aggregated data for all emails sent in a given time interval, meaning that you will never know which email exactly was opened and which links were clicked - something I have never seen in any email service before.

I searched everywhere in the settings - the multiple docs in the knowledgebase stated that this analytics is already included in my plan and provided links to these analytical pages - ALL LEADING TO THE MAIN PAGE.

I tried to reach out to their support - but they HAVE NO SUPPORT, only a silly AI chatbot that gave me very generic, irrelevant responses. No proper support via email or chat, connected to a real human, wasn't suggested on the support page. After some digging in the sendgrid's partner pages, I found their Twitter account, where they allegedly provide support via DMs (this is beyond dodgy, btw). Contacted them on Twitter - no response again.

So, I thought I might need any add-ons to see the advanced statistics per email. At least, this is what their AI suggested - an add-on called Email Activity API. I followed the link to get that add-on, and - you guessed it - there was no add-on! The add-on page was redirected to the Email API pricing page.

BOTTOM LINE: This product has serious gaps, they provide no support, and have a useless knowledge base. I will migrate to another service.

My overall impression of Headway services is terrible, I would never recommend them to anyone. I was charged 3 times for the past 4 months, and only 1 time I was actually supposed to pay. The first refund (after I was charged twice because of a bug in your payment system) was replaced by some bizarre infographics pack I didn’t need. The second time I wanted a refund because I wasn’t using your service and simply forgot to cancel the auto-renewal. I asked for a refund just a few hours after I noticed my card had been charged. My request was declined, although any other company would look at usage analytics and make a refund without any questions asked. But it looks like Headway is just a scam, charging people in every possible way. And you’re using the Ukrainian flag in your branding! You should be ashamed.
