Customer satisfaction

Yesterday 07/10/25 we visited SCS Gloucester and dealt with a very nice gentleman by the name of Dean, he’s the sort of salesman I like to deal with, he’s knowledgeable regarding his job not in the slightest pushy, but very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him.
SCS should be proud to have him on their payroll.

Customer satisfaction

On Thursday 14th August I visited Attwoolls Whitminster and bought a camping chair, and I have to say that the gentleman I dealt with on this occasion ( unfortunately I don’t have his name but he has a beard ) was so helpful and professional .Being disabled I was not able to carry said chair to my car, but this gentleman was glad to carry it for me and even CAREFULLY placed it in the car for me, unfortunately, due to a manufacturing issue I had to return the chair yesterday 18th, on this occasion I dealt with Mr John Attwoolls son, and I have to say that he was as equally polite and professional.
Many grateful thanks to both members of staff, and you can be assured, that if I need anything camping related in future then I won’t hesitate to return to this company.

We went to Longleat Safari Park yesterday 13th Aug 2025 and what a lovely trip it was. Our driver was James and his companion who were two of the most friendlessly and helpful men Applegates could have employed.
James’s driving is 1st class it makes one able to sit and relax
.
We also want to Thank Anne the bookings lady she is always so happy helpful and knowledgable.

Thank You Applegates Coaches for all the work involved in arranging the tours and pleasing your customers. We can throughly recommend you all.

Complete customer satisfaction

After recently suffering a breakdown with my Sportage it was arranged for a R A C mobile mechanic to come to my home to repair the car, however this could not be done and so therefore they towed the car to Clarks Kia Kidderminster.
Now this company did not know me and yet they went above and beyond to get me mobile again, the young lady I dealt with was Danielle and I have to say that she kept me updated from start to finish, I met Danielle for the first time yesterday, and I have to say that she is as sweet and caring in person as she is on the phone, Clarks should be so proud to have her on the payroll.


Also the mechanic who worked on the car was 2nd to none, a lovely chap and Clarks should be proud to employ him.

Although the garage was 54 miles away I shall use it in future.

Review of RAC Breakdown Cover

Complete customer satisfaction

Over the last few day’s I’ve been dealing with the R A C on a problem with my car, and a failed fuel injector. Yesterday 27th May I had a mobile mechanic by the name of Ashley, (who I have to say is a very nice gentleman) come to my home with a replacement fuel injector, however search as he may he just could not find a calibration code therefore could not carry out the necessary repairs. He therefore suggested that I get hold of recovery this morning and arrange for the car to be taken to a Kia dealership, this was arranged and a lovely young man by the name of Dylan 3067 turned up long before the expected time I was told he would. This suited me perfectly and he was excellent, extremely polite, and when handling my car ready for the tow he was very careful and professional.
I have to say that the way my problem has been dealt with by everyone I’ve dealt with at the R A C has given me confidence that I’m dealing with the right company, and therefore when my renewal is due, I won’t hesitate to renew with them.

Complete customer satisfaction

When I recently suffered a side of the road breakdown 20/5/25 I rang the R A C, I was given a time to expect the patrol to arrive, but when the patrolman himself rang me he said he would be with me earlier and even then he was slightly earlier than he’d quoted, unfortunately I don’t have his patrol number but his name was David, he was driving a VW van reg DY 23 FWO, he was so polite and professional and went above and beyond to make sure that everything humanly possible was done for me.

After this experience I would highly recommend the R A C and indeed will certainly be renewing with them when my renewal is due.

Over the years I’ve visited Tesco stores and always found staff to be very knowledgeable and friendly, yesterday 4/4/25 I visited the Stroud store and dealt with a gentleman named Ford, I found him to be very polite and friendly, and he’s on top of his job and a credit to Tesco.

While I have to admit that I’m not a great fan of Chinese food, yesterday evening my wife bought sweet & sour chicken balls from Peking chef in Stonehouse, and I have to admit that they were absolutely delicious, well done to the staff of this restaurant.

When I met my wife in 2010 she was having her electricity from N Power, however after many, many problems, we started looking for somewhere else and struck upon ecotricity, since then we’ve never looked back, we’ve never had the slightest problem and if you need to contact them, everyone you speak to is of the utmost courteous and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble for them.

The service was good at the right price, and lovely clear photos, you also told when we could expect to see our prints, the only thing that let it down was and through no fault of yours, the prints were delivered 3 days late, but as I say this was the fault of Royal Mail and not yours.

1st class delivery men

The salesman when placing our order was a lovely and very helpful man.
The company has honoured every thing they said they would do ie delivery information etc.
The two chaps Sam & Reece who delivered were 1st class. They were very efficient, polite and thoughtful. They should be commended.
We would definitely not hesitate to recommend SCS to anyone else.

Gloucester store

When we first walked into your Gloucester store we did not have any idea what the staff were like but we need not have worried, straight away Yusaf put us at ease, he was most polite and put us at our ease, he explained things to us without I have to say being pushy, when we decided to buy new furniture, which I have to say was not on the same day, we decided that it was coming from s c s and that it was Yusaf that we were going to deal with, he really is a great credit to the company.
