The shirt is not a 44 size, it is much larger, perhaps a 46 or 48. In both sleeve length and chest measurment it is atleast 1 1/2 inches larger than the other size 44 shirts I have purchased in the past. Also the button holes are too small in places, making the button entry difficult.

Good opportunity to find rare and well made models.
