They turned up without any brooms or…

They turned up without any brooms or bin bags, I had to supply them both. In the end they took my broom with them. I noticed a few weeks later and asked them to return it but no news.

Easy to deal with, fast and prompt

We were very happy with Stokemont, Bradley Mackenzie was knowledgeable and within a week, had party wall agreed and signed. He kept us informed throughout the process and was very quick to respond to queries / concerns. I would strongly recommend Bradley at Stokemont

No right to cancel mid contract price rises

Virgin Media have recently changed the wording in their contracts. Where previously, customers had the right to cancel their contracts when there were mid contract price rise, this is no longer the case.

The newest wording that everyone will be bound to from April 2023, states that they are switching from CPI (10%) to RPI (13.4%) + 3.9% above the rate of inflation. Their new terms make no mention of right to cancel due to mid contract prices.

It's also worth noting that VM have now started offering 18month contracts. On the face of it, this may seem like a good idea, however, customers could potentially be hit by 2 mid contract price rises in an 18month period and therefore could end up paying 30%+ of the original price agreed to pay for, from the onset of the contract.

Vote with your pockets and leave penalty free while you can.

What a load of rubbish

What a load of rubbish. Items were horrible quality, looked nothing like the pictures and were obviously fake. It was not clear when purchasing that they were shopping from China.

Do not use these con artists, I am usually very careful buying online and bought on impulse from an Instagram ad without doing any checks. Thankfully though, I paid via PayPal and got a full refund.

Review of Proguard Exteriors Ltd

Great finish and fantastic team.

We used ProGuard for External Wall Insulation and Silicone Rendering. The finish is excellent. The team are fantastic, easy to work with and a pleasure to have on site.

The boys were very cooperative and worked well to instruction. The tiling on the porch roof was coming away (I was unaware) and they fixed it for me for free.

Only gripe I had was, the driveway and roof was left very dirty. All my gutters were blocked my the polystyrene insulation - though I have given feedback to the team and hopefully they will improve on this aspect.

All in all, I would strongly recommend ProGuard to anybody considering their services.

Review of The Co-operative Bank

Online banking is terrible.

Online banking services from the Co-Op Business, is terrible - Why does it even exist!

I can't see any transactions.
There are multiple ways of accessing the same thing, none of which work.
You have a USERID and then a Customer ID, Password and a Token, all just to login.
You have to carry the token with you to login to internet banking, if you don't have it, there's no way of logging in and processing payments.
The statement exporter doesn't work - which means I have to enter ALL transactions, manually, to my accountant's portal.
The website keeps logging me out.
Most surprising, NO MOBILE APP.

I called in, passed security and asked what my account number was (I had forgotten it) - the policy was, they couldn't tell me. What a joke!

Business users who value their time, steer clear of Co-Op Business Banking.

I'll stop ranting now.
