Circular Road Trip

We did not want do the standard trip to Western Canada i.e. the Rocky Moutaineer train journey followed by an Alaskan criuse.
Instead. over a period of time, Damian worked patiently with me to sort out the circular road trip and flights that we wanted

Booked in advance but no spaces available

On 4/6/23, we paid £97.74 to park my car for 3 days in the short term parking area at Bristol Airport. We arrived at the due time (4pm) on 3/10/23 and simply could not find a car parking spot. We spent 45 minutes driving round in circles with half a dozen other cars also trying to find a spot. We then phoned the number on our booking sheet only for a woman to tell us that she could not help us and that we had to fill in an online form! With the time of our aircraft project getting closer and closer, we had no alternative other than to park in an unauthorised spot within the short term car parking area which meant that we spent the rest of our holiday worrying what we would find when we got back i.e. the car clamped or indeed towed away. It was an absolutely dreadful start to our city break. I would never again ever use the short term car parking area at Bristol airport because of the stress that it caused

Long delivery time and poor product

Item was delivered 10 days after you originally advised me that it had been despatched!
Shorts were far too full in terms of material, too long and far too wide at the bottom i.e. on the leg/knee

I had absolutely no problems at all

I had absolutely no problems at all. I ordered my new padel tennis racket online at Sunday lunch time and received it at Tuesday lunchtime. Very happy with my purchase (at 25% of RRP) and the delivery.

Review of 1ST Airport Taxis Luton

No meet & greet!

With the Heathrow Hoppa bus only leaving the airport once an hour to go to our hotel, we decided to book in advance the meet and greet/airport transfer service provided by First Airport Taxis. Our flight was due to arrive at 6:20am. It was delayed by 15 minutes and so we fully expected our driver to be waiting for us in the arrivals hall. He was not. It took 3 phone calls to their head office and 2 responses from the driver before he turned up after we had been waiting for over 40 minutes. This is not the service for which we had paid £39. They have since reimbursed me the £8 meet and greet fee but that is not the point. If they cannot be relied upon to be there on time I will not use them again nor recommend them to any of my friends.

Poor customer service

Twice I have phoned Barclaycard today and gave up after 45 minutes because no-one had spoken to me. I was advised (automatically) at the beginning that waiting times were "currently at least 10 minutes" but I really didn't expect to have to wait over 45 minutes and still not be able to speak to someone. Very, very poor customer service.
I was trying to check that my Disputed Transaction Claim Form dated 5/3/20 had been received for my payment of £130.02 on 21/1/20 to Flybe (who have since gone bust) and that it is being actioned.

Review of Latin Odyssey Ltd

Brilliant service

My wife and I have used Mark Rolfe at Latin Odyssey for two trips to South America (Brazil/Peru and Argentina/Chile) and one to Central America (Colombia/Panama/Guatemala/Belize) and all 3 have been brilliantly arranged and executed. Mark really helps you in the initial stages to form an itinerary. He then picks hotels/tours to suit your requirements/pocket (quite often unique hotels in stunning locations). He is with you every step of the way. On our last trip home, when we had difficulty accessing our airline booking online, he went online himself at home in the UK over a weekend to access it and email us our boarding passes in Belize. Now that is service for you!
