Lisa lucy has been absolutely fabulous helping me get some things resolved with my home! I cannot thank her enough. She has got all my jobs booked in for me in a timely manner and she is always so helpful when I speak to her. Thank you!

Mark

Mark came a few weeks ago to fill and paint my living room ceiling and he did a fabulous job! He then drove past me this morning as his job he was supposed to do got cancelled and asked if I still had some outstanding jobs and I did to which he said I can do them today. He is absolutely wonderful everything he has done is perfect, he’s a perfectionist and has pride in his work! A pleasure to have around the house working, he’s very tidy and clean and leaves everything looking brand new!

Excellent from customer care

Joe and John attended my property today to fix various bits around my home and I cannot say enough about them! They are extremely polite, work hard and they genuinely care about the work they are doing. They arrived on time, completed their work to a very high standard and left everywhere clean and tidy. Super impressed with them. I have some more bits for them to come back to finish and I know it will be perfect when they are done! Thank you!

I don’t think the trust pilot rating is…

I don’t think the trust pilot rating is an accurate reflection of Anwyl homes. Anwyl homes get any negative reviews removed from trust pilot.

I owned my Anwyl home for just under 4 years and I had nothing but issues from day one of reservation. Customer service was not there at all. When getting the keys to our new home it was filthy nails and screws all over the floor mould growing in every room and things broken.


Anwyl homes make it very difficult to get anything fixed in your home. As they hope the home owner will give up. I reported our front door not locking and they didn’t class it as an emergency even though I had 3 children in the house. I then had to get the lock fixed and when anwyl homes finally sent someone to look at it over a week later they voided my warranty as I had it fixed before they came out.

I would tell anyone looking at an Anwyl homes house to really think twice about it. Join the Facebook groups of the site you are looking at to see what the people living on the sites think.

I will say that the customer care site workers like Lee, and all the others are fabulous. If only they could run the company I think it would be amazing.

The customer care people that you ring to report things to are awful. They don’t care. They are young girls that don’t really know anything about houses or grounds work yet they will argue that black is white.

I really am glad to see the back of Anwyl homes, it’s a shame really as we worked hard and made our house beautiful. But I could never deal with them for a second longer.

I have since bought another home of (David Wilson) and can say the difference is unbelievable! We couldn’t be happier to finally be away from anwyl homes and their terrible customer service. If looking in the Sydney area of Crewe look anywhere but the Anwyl site. Go and speak to home owners and they will tell you how bad the majority of the houses have been on there.


EDIT - for Anwyls response below, as stated your emergency process failed as ANWYL wanted me to wait nearly a week for them to come out, as any normal person would understand that wasn’t good enough and left me with no choice getting my own contractor. I have evidence of everything as I have kept all email threads between myself and Anwyl homes.

Your staff are not well trained at all to NHBC standards as when I forwarded emails to the NHBC they couldn’t believe your responses.

I only with I left the development quicker it would have solves a lot of heart ache.

Your ‘thoughtful homes’ really is the most incorrect statement I’ve ever seen.

Hi Beth, we were sorry to read this review, we can assure you that all our teams receive all the necessary training from the NHBC in how to handle aftercare issues. We do make it clear that engaging your own contractors will void aspects of your warranty and do have an emergency process for front and rear doors that won't lock. We don't want any of our homeowners to feel so unhappy and as you have now left the development, we can only apologise.

Amazing!

From reserving our house to completion was amazing with David Wilson. Jordan in the sales office is brilliant and helped us so much achieving our dream home he really does genuinely care! I cannot thank him enough! We part exchanged our old house and it really was so simple and they gave us a great price! Danny and all the site team are lovely! They will do so much for you and I cannot thank the whole team enough! Our experience has been nothing but amazing! From having a not great experience on buying our first home from another builder, David Wilson has restored our faith in buying new builds with everything they have done!

Had very good customer service in Macclesfield store

Had very good customer service in store, staff couldn’t do enough to help us. We found the perfect carpet and very happy with it. Unfortunately can not give 5 stars as the estimator walked mud and other things all over my current carpet.
