Damage & poor quality. Appalling customer service response
The TV cabinet arrived with some minor damage to the top back corner and significant manufacturing flaws to front top display. I took photos and spent all day trying to sort it out with customer service. At first they tried saying it was natural sap damage to the wood til I pointed out that oak is a low sap product and the flaws were clearly square tool damage that has been badly filled with mismatched wood filler and wax. They asked if it was smooth to touch, I said yes, but very unsightly filled hole. They said if it was filled and smooth it was manufactured correctly and basically nothing they could (or rather would) do. This is not the item I paid for, it’s poor cuts of wood and very badly finished. If they had this in the display in store I’d have walked out. They refuse to comment further even though I’ve asked them to put their comments in writing for litigation purposes they will not. I am still going to take the matter forward without their cooperation. This site won’t give enough space to share all the defect images
