I took out Breakdown cover with the…

I took out Breakdown cover with the policy. It is with the RAC but there is no information on how to contact the RAC in an emergency. It seems that it is necessary to contact Hastings Direct instead, which is ridiculous. That is why I am only giving 3 stars.

Buy elsewhere

Cannot review the product as it never arrived. No response from the company so I am just assuming it is a scam and I have lost my money. I have opened a dispute through paypal but do not have much hope of a result.
Avoid these people.

One of the 2 Numax batteries I got from…

One of the 2 Numax batteries I got from Tayna has developed a fault. The 2 batteries are wired in parallel in the correct way bt the bad one is drgging the voltage down. They are used as Leisure batteries and due to Covid have only had light use. As a retired Engineer I knew how to do comparison tests to check voltage drain over a time period and compare the 2 of them. One is draining faster than the other.

This is where buying batteries online is a problem. It is very difficult to send the battery back with the strict rules that Tayna demand. Also, if the Courier causes damage en route, there is no comeback as Tayna will blame the sender, not the Courier.

This is my first and last time of buying batteries online, the few £ saved is a gamble and the problem when receiving a faulty product is just not worth it. After due consideration I will write off my losses and buy a replacement locally at a reputable source.

9 days after the 12 month guarantee…

9 days after the 12 month guarantee expired, our Hoover washing machine motor blew up and took out the electronics with it. The local engineer who looked at it said it was uneconomical to repair and it was only fit for scrap. He said he had seen similar problems a number of times.

A company that was once a byword for reliability now seems to peddle junk. No more Hoover products for us.
