Feeling scammed and upset.

As like others, I placed an order after lots of emails and I can't fault the advice and he even sent me a door sample.
I was reluctant to pay for the goods via bank transfer but was told it was preferred due to it being a small bespoke order and would save the company banking costs.
I was emailed on Tuesday 12th March to say item ready for dispatch and due for delivery 14th/15th via UPS. Needless to say it didn't arrive and I was disappointed when I tried to call yesterday and there was an answer phone message saying they were closed due to unforseen circumstances. I've since sent 2 emails and an answer phone message.
I didn't have any tracking info but contacted UPS and using my address they couldn't find a shipment due to be delivered to me.
I've obviously been lied to. My bank have been informed and I have to ring them tomorrow if I've not had correspondence from the company. They are hopeful that I can be helped but because I was silly enough to be made to think that a bank transfer was doing Drawer Solutions a favour I have less rights, financially.
I chose the company because they told me they could supply me exactly what I needed and now I feel scammed. I hope I'll hear something from either the person I dealt with or the owner, but not feeling hopeful.
UPDATE 12.12 WEDNESDAY 20 MARCH
received email saying I'm due my delivery in the next couple of days as per previous email. Can't help thinking this won't happen as now the website says they have ceased trading. When I email back I get an auto response reply.
