Refunded…

I have unwittingly been paying £15 a month to this company for years. I had never heard of them. After realising what had happened I stopped the payments with my bank and immediately emailed them to cancel my subscription along with a letter of complaint. The next day they sent me back £45 and a claim form for the rest of what I had paid them. Today they have said they are refunding me another £585. I'm still unhappy about the way they catch people out but they have been great at refunding me so for this I give 2 stars.

A completely smooth transition

A completely smooth transition. No problems at all. So happy to now pay £26 a month instead of being robbed by bt for £80 per month!

Great product

Great product. Got the job done in half the time without a wretched cord to drag around. 50 foot of hedge both sides and the battery lasted without having to recharge.

Do not insure with this company.

My son has been insured with General Accident for 1 year and 3 months. No problems in the first year so thought it a good idea to carry on with them, until
now!
Over the last month he has been accused of speeding 3 times, doing 40mph in a 30mph zone all in exactly the same place and has now had his insurance revoked. Despite appealing, they have gone ahead and cancelled his insurance.
We asked for the coordinates of the alleged offenses and put them into Google maps which clearly states he WAS in a 40mph zone.
They kept saying they were checking with the telematics department and would get back to us but didn't and went ahead with cancelling his insurance.
This behaviour is totally abhorrent, how can you deal with company that doesn't listen to what you are saying, and cancels your policy in mid appeal.
My son has had an impeccable driving record for over a year, but is now in a position where he is back to square one and has to pay through the nose for another insurance and has had his driving record totally blemished doing nothing wrong.
Needless to say I will not let this lie and will be taking this to the insurance ombudsmen.
