Money Grabbing and Greedy!
My partner and I have been trying to book a holiday for a few weeks. When we finally decide where we want to go, we book with TUI. We were both extremely excited to go, I get to the payment page on the website, I pay via paypal because I dont trust these companies at the best of times. The money goes through and I'm redirected back to the conformation page.. but there was no conformation page, instead I was greeted by an email from paypal saying I had successfully paid, no emails confirming my booking with tui AND a lovely looking error page telling me to book again.
Now as far as I can tell this is an issue that seems to be re occurring, however ALL the tui customer service people I spoke to seemed to have no idea of this issue, they didnt understand how to fix the issue, and only passed me onto my bank without being even remotely sorry. Then when contacting their facebook page they claimed to look into it, but it has been 5 days since they last got in contact with me saying "No response from the financial team as of yet, will let you know when we hear back." I have since sent messages chasing up the issue however they have read and ignored the messages asking for updates.
I am absolutely FURIOUS and DISGUSTED with the service I have recieved through this whole ordeal and right now I honestly feel like binning this whole holiday off already as TUI has made it a nightmare, without even setting foot on a plane!!! TUI needs to up their customer service game big time and sort out this massive issue leaving many people including myself out of pocket for hundreds, even thousands of pounds!
