Inexperienced manual driver burnt up my transmission

It was taking a while for my car to arrive and the Valet manager at the Element by Westin a Marriott property, approached me to ask would I be willing to get it myself if he drove me to it because the valet was having trouble getting it uphill.(manual transmission) Guess where this is going...Suddenly there my car appears emitting a horrible stench. I wasn't going to drive it as I was on a road trip and suspected the clutch and transmission were burnt up. Long story short, The manager sent the valet home for the day and let me leave my car in the valet lane for it to be towed to a repair shop the following day. I had 4 witnesses to this. Repair shop confirmed transmission was severely damaged due to driving on the emergency brake uphill and lack of knowledge driving a manual auto. $4000. repair and PMC i Nashville refuses to cover. This is who Marriott entrusts your vehicles with, YELP 1 star rating with 58 reviews as of today.

Christmas gift fiasco

In November, I ordered a belt for my daughter’s Christmas gift. When she tried it on it was too big so I sent it back with a note explaining this and instructing them to refund my CC. A couple of weeks later, they sent back the belt with a form letter indicating it had been over 30 days since I made the purchase so no refund and no exchange.

I called to speak to a customer service rep who possessed the charm of a rabid beast so I asked for a manager. The rep put me on hold for 7 minutes and they said her boss was busy but she’ll email me later.
I don’t expect to hear back and am disappointed to say the least.

I’ve never experienced this type of dismissive and rude behavior from a luxury brand. No more VERSACE for me!

As I suspected, four days later no contact from Versace. The negative reviews are justified and quite surprisingly accurate accounts of customer service.

Credit Card Fraud dispute

Three phone calls so far, two with the fraud department and one with the security department. Each call the same questions are asked of me...(did you lose your card, was it on your person, etc...)$11,000+ in fraudulent charges and no resolution so far. All charges were posted in August and September(most travel related, hotels and car rentals) and I’m still waiting to be assigned an investigator. I didn’t think to change my autopay total(100%) and they paid all fraudulent charges. I never dreamt I’d need to hire an attorney in a credit card dispute but it’s looking that way. Citi bank Credit Card customer since 1998.

Our daughter gifted my husband a Zeel…

Our daughter gifted my husband a Zeel massage and when he tried to schedule online a credit card number is required. No other options unless you enter your cc# so he was unable to use his massage. What type of scam is this?

Dear FJones,
What a thoughtful daughter you have. We would like to help your husband book his appointment right away. Please be assured while the credit card entry is part of the account set-up process, his card will not be charged when he books using a gift card or credit code. Please email help@zeel.com, reference this review and a manager will contact you. Best, Zeel

***Knock-off***

I’ve previously made several wonderful purchases from TRR and have never questioned my items’ authenticity until the purchase I received yesterday. It’s obvious to me that I spent $1000+ for a poorly copied Hermes knockoff handbag. Shame on me, I suppose. I trusted the site and it clearly states no returns on this item. The photo looked legitimate but once I opened the package I knew I had been taken. Never again.
